The film took over six years to make, and ONLY DESI pointed out how the look of the main leads changed throughout the movie's making. Unfortunately, the movie's director faced a delay in the making of his other Hindi film, Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, leading him to make the film in Tamil before the Hindi version eventually saw the light of day
