I learned my lesson when a drink spilt on my maschine studio after a month of getting it. I only allow drinks with screw on caps now in my studio except around equipment. Glad it didn't ruin it ✌🏼

I walked into my studio whilst it was raining and saw the rain coming through the celing and straight onto my desk. I did the same thing, took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly. I also sprayed contact cleaner in all of the faders and luckily, nothing bad happened. That was 6 months ago and it is still working fine.

Hi and thank you for this information! In addition to your proper assemly work... to easily remove by pulling back out the "bottom plate" without the need to disconnect the various multipin adapters on the inside at the same time one can remove the 4 outermost screws of the backside of the db25 panel from outside (the ones located above and below the "center out" and the "alt in"). That results in decoupling the bottom plane from almost any ingoing connection (except the multipin connector that connects to the xlr output pcb). Kind regards

Brother Weezna, you are a very lucky man 👨That 1 move had disaster written all over it.I had a similar experience in my studio where I was drinking a coke and tripped on the carpet. It was all in slow motion, I saw 👀 everything happening like in a dream.And like you time was of the essence. Speed and a since of purpose was the order of the day.I don't remember moving that fast since I was in the Marine Corps.I was so relieved after cleaning everything that it all worked. You gotten pretty lucky that you didn't have any major issues with a coffee spill. I learned to use a sealed lid coffee mug to drink around my mixer and audio equipment as I spilled water on a piece of gear on a sunday morning.... I was super lucky i didn't have any issues myself

This is why I don'y allow any drinks on, above or near the desk, cause "Sorry" or "My Bad" from a client can't fix it....and now I have to go through the process of asking/chasing you down to replace it??? Nah I'm good, you can drink that open drink back there. I use screw capped insulated bottles that can't spill in my studio (you have to actually suck to get the fluid to come out). Glad nothing happened to it. I'm wondering though...🧐do you still continue the same practice? Be honest my friend? ✌🏾
