I think I’m missing the wiring for the main speakers and wiring from the desk to the racks in the front.
@TrueSoundTV18 сағат бұрын
The wiring in this video was only for wires that needed to be put behind the walls. There is probably 5x the amount of wire that will be in front of the walls. The main monitor wiring, front desk and studio desk wiring is all coming up after the acoustic treatment is fully done!

People like you builded up our civilisation. I admire your dedication to everything you do. What happened to your GL4000? After all recapping how much did you sell it for? How did it influence the sound of your GL? Would love to hear more about it here. Greetings☀️

you're connecting two preamps simultaneously, you can't bypass the preamp of the babyface, they're on the circuit, yes you can change it to line level but the preamp is still in there :(

Well, thanks so much man, I really appreciate it. So I wanted to create an area to store and house my computer, hard drives, and some of my home theater gear. I wanted it also to be a place to put things like outboard effects, converters, and analog gear that I don’t need to adjust. Last I wanted it to be a place for my studio monitors to sit on and for my TV to hide. That’s what that front cabinet is for and in later videos you’ll see exactly how I built it all and how it all integrates.

I still don't know how to record the sound on my computer (DAW), since my audio interface will not be connected. If you could show how to add the compressor to the recording equipment chain that is already ready to record - would be very helpful.

@chrissiemilnarskii13 күн бұрын
Really looking forward to this series! Out of curiosity, why aren’t you drywalling (à la “room within a room”)? Is there no concern for noise bleed to the rest of the house this time around?
@TrueSoundTV13 күн бұрын
Thanks so much. So the walls of this house are all concrete block, and that concrete block is filled with concrete. Coupled with missile rated impact windows, the soundproofing is pretty incredible on its own. I’m not really sure why some of the weaker spots like the ceiling don’t let as much sound through the house but it doesn’t. I will have a DB test like I did last time and you’ll see how well it does at stopping sound from leaving that space. Also having to do the entire room within a room and then additionally create the acoustic treatment It’s just so much work. This room is already small enough as it is and that would just eat up even more space. I also wanted to create a really great sounding studio build series that wasn’t all about ripping everything apart and starting over. I took a bit of a risk and went with this design and the results are very impressive

Looking great. I got my room (similar size as yours…but not symmetrical unfortunately) sounding about as good as I can these days in the sweet spot, but didn’t go to near the amount of effort. My wife would kill me. LOL. I also tend to reorganize entirely too often. I always get ideas from your vids over the years and appreciate it! Really happy to see you back on YT! Even started my own channel (sorta… long story)….. Take care!

Thank you, yeah I figured this particular studio build would probably be more relatable to the modern producer opposed to my last massive super and depth studio build. Ha ha I change my studio set up and configuration all the time. Maybe this Studio won’t do that as much. Thank you for watching, I really appreciate it.
