As Anglers, we all go through "Stages". We can be enjoying one or more stages at any time. This is not about being better than others rather it is about enjoying the sport. So I ask, what stage or stages are you in now?

its crazy i commercial fish for catfish so ya i end up killing a lot of fish but its for food for people around here i sell to a local market. but when i go fishing with a pole i never really keep fish. besides when im getting the bait for trotlines for commercial catfishing but usually its skipjacks.. a couple months bluegills when the skipjacks arent biting. i also never felt the urge to ever travel to fish really. no matter where you live there is local places to fish.

Hello, it sounds like you're apologizing for being a commercial fisherman. You're making a living doing what you love. Also, you are fortunate to have good fishing opportunities close by so you don't have to travel. Keep enjoying the sport. No one is required to be in all the stages that I talked about.
