Ray of Hope is pretty much frozen. On the plus side XRMPE is much further along and you can get it on modb to play wave defense and coop missions (only 1 mission comes with the client, another interconnected level one is coming next and currently there are projects to port chunks of the stalker trilogy's campaigns into the client for now). With how the interconnected map codebase is going, open world coop or beyond will be very possible once that update arrives.

I've been playing this game about 2 weeks now and I'm just in love. STALKER games series are my favorite games and I always wanted a online game capable of bring the original game atmosphere. The only thing that could be better is making it a little bit slow paced than it is and remove the pay to win features.

Its a fun game, the X update is quite massive, and i wish this was how the game actually launched in the first place. But its still one of those situations where you know that the further you get into it, its only a matter of time before you start getting fucked by master rank sweatlords. there will always be sweat lords no matter where you are, the game is fun even in the later areas (such as the bar/factory, and army warehouses (above the factory))

Fair warning to the new players. The devs cater only to the RU community. They dont listen and will not do what the community asks of them. When you get into late game the matchmaking is incredibly unbalanced and you will face up against people that will kill you in 4 shots when you need 8-10 to kill them. If youre in for amore hardcore shooter experience with ALOT of grinding then this is for you. If not steer clear of this one. :)

My only issue with the game is trying to get missions done or just travelling is frustrating due to the PvP, especially when its higher level players against noobs. So much time wasted and resources lost due to dying over and over to campers.

Everyone should be made aware that the endgame for this game is terrible unless you're running in a group of people. the X Update made it alot better, but you're going to forever be in an upward slope of power-creep from other players who've been playing since day one, with artifact builds that can regen half their HP bar in 2 seconds from a single medkit, making gunfights at the higher tier brackets of the north areas complete shitshows for people who are ill-equipped. making these artifact builds is also going to cost you ALOT of time and effort, even finding the artifacts is difficult, that or you shell out millions of roubles to buy them off the auction house. the game is good just be aware that EXBO does NOT value your time over your money.

This your first MMO, or what? This is NOT a grindy game lmao, it has significant flaws, I wouldn't even call it a good game, but I got to end game gear in less than 200 hours without spending a cent. I also got a premium account and premium battlepass off the auction house, the literal opposite of p2w. If you had an infinite supply of money, the best you could do right now in Stalcraft is buy mediocre end game gear, which other people can get anyway. you can't buy the artifacts you NEED to survive at that tier, you can't buy the ammo you NEED to survive at that tier, and you can't buy the experience to know all this

Fuck man, I sort of fell off the game nearing the 2nd Act. I made it to the (what is it called) The Mall, I believe. And I just sorta dropped it there. Been playing other things since then. But seeing footage now (i've been holding off on reinstalling just cuz), I just might reinstall, this is crazy. I still have vivid memories of how it was in the beginning, my journey to-and-fro from location to location, jobs to quests. The struggle of getting that one artifact in the near early games to getting solid gear to deal with both PvP and PvE. I can still hear "The House of The Rising Sun" in my head whenever I see this game. (highly recommended whilst playing this game) Fuck, I just might reinstall...

Stalker assets are still under copyright, they didn't explicitly ask permission to re-create stalker mobs blocky style. they dont own the rights to these enemies. If they kept it, a DMCA suit would've followed stalcraft

I ran red forest solo all the time it’s easy. Sure you’ll get clapped if there’s a squad but you gotta be tactical. I’ve even 3rd partied two squads at an air drop and had so much loot I could barely walk back to base. Talk about nerve wracking. I get it, solo v squad isn’t for everyone but I enjoy it and honestly didn’t ever run into squads much, maybe a duo here and there.

The problem I had with Stalcraft, or at least with RU servers, is that without wipes or anything like that players that been playing game for YEARS had nothing else to do but spawn camp newbies at Bar and make people uninstall. (At some point i joined the group, and the 3 of us spent 8 hours trying to leave Rostok) Which is sucks, because game feels amazing in progression and gameplay features. Probably the best multiplayer stalker experience.

tried to get back into this, Im only low level, picked up where i left off to go and find some couriers and kill them for information, after running around the area for 10 minutes trying to find them, I stopped to check a map then got two tapped in the head with a mosa and spawned back at base, safe to say I probably won't be playing this as it was just a total waste of my time... .... I can see how it could be a good game, but going around killing low levels that have nothing in their inventory is gay as fuck tbh

There is a storyline but it's all open pvp in factions. Basically, be prepared to run if you cannot fight.

There is plenty of solo experience, story, mutant hunting, artefact hunting etc. and for a good while there are ways to avoid PVP, since there are some zones where you can play and see your own faction exclusively, so the chances of PVP are next to zero there. In over a hundred hours, I haven't had many problems with PVP, at least in the zones I've been so far. I don't know how it is in the northern zones and beyond my progression, but so far I can't complain.

i wish you would experiance the late midgame / early late game to realise that this game isnt as great as you might think, yes the early to mid mid game is super fun but once you go into the sub faction stuff and onwerd's it becomes super sweaty and unbalanced, once you get to the epic tier it becomes unbarible how unfair some fight's become you litrely eather need to get 4-6 shot's on target befor thay get 1-2 shot's if you wanna win the fire fight or hope thay arnt paying atention to the ping sound , i wish the dev's would focus alot more on the end game now when thay have done this massive update for early to mid game, sure thay have removed the old north area and added the forge-11 and the stuff around but i'd still wish there was somting ells idk what tho it just feel's like it's missing the kick that heat that ''most'' people like when thay make food

What these devs need to fix is the fact my friend joined me the other day and had to do quests I was already done with and he had to do them while i waited outside the whole time and I find that extremely problematic for the longevity of this games coop experience... Not to be rude or anything, but I feel like the thing with these types of games is that you're expected to accomplish everything at the same time as everyone else. If both you and your friend had started at the same time then you wouldn't have had this issue, but since he's just starting out, he still has the begineer quests to do. Of course, he can very quickly catch up, but I see that for you it's a problem. Try and give him some help with guns and armor and stuff.
