It’s so ironic and neat that you’re doing these right now When I was just thinking about trying to contact you about doing custom VHS tapes sleeves. For different classes on tape for each year of Hogwarts for let’s say a homeschool student and they would be replacement sleeves for the movies

I made one of these recently and I have a little tip for anyone who might not have access to a laser printer/foil specific tools. I uploaded the file provided and put it into Silhouette studio, and used the the trace tool to transfer the design to a cut path. I used silver HTV as my “foil”. It looks great and HTV sticks well to paper, you just have to be careful not too overheat your already printed page. thicker paper works best, or linen paper. Just a tip for anyone who might have easier access to a cricut/silhouette. :)

Hey Danny, huge fan. I have what appears to be the same Carl RT 218 paper trimmer, but for whatever reason, I don’t seem to be able to lift the guide-rail (with the attached rotary blade) like you do. I don’t see a way to disengage the bar from either side. Maybe it’s a new/old feature. But if there is a trick, please let me know. Thanks

Would it be possible for a version of the cover image with the black integrated to be made available? As someone who has neither a laser printer, nor a foil applicator, I'd usually do that sort of thing with a very small brush and leafing foil (and I imagine I'm not alone in that regard) so a version of the image that has the text integrated would be helpful for precision glue application.

Don't know if this will be seen and read but here it goes. Just bought a brother laser (just a black and white) and i have an old canon ink jet. but the problem is that I can't get the pages from the potion label file to line up. Is there away to do this? It's the labels with the armadillo bile and elixir.

Hey Danny, I absolutely LOVE your videos and Harry Potter projects! I would love to make this book cover with the foiling, but I don’t have a laser printer myself and my local copy shop says they don’t print on already printed paper (which I would have to do with the inkjet part). Apparently they fear that the heat of the laser printer might make the ink smudge and therefore stain the printer… Have you ever had a problem with that before?

Probably a bit late to the party but I think that Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them needs to be made in this series (I’d say Prisoner of Azkaban since that’s where care of magical creatures is most featured)
