It didn't matter who we played, whenever we needed a late game winner and Ben had the ball - you'd always feel that the game is safe in his hands. Gonna miss him so much, thank you 7

That final drive in Super Bowl 43 is one of the most special drive I think in NFL history. That dime of a pass to Holmes in the corner is almost unmatched in terms of clutch. Despite controversy, I think there’s a lot to respect about Big Ben and his mentality as an athlete and as a leader for this era of Steelers football.
@stanfreeman24262 жыл бұрын
I don't think it's enough credit I think it's one of the best plays in super bowl history and one of the best last minute drives in the super bowl in football for that matter

The last 18 years have been a roller coaster but will always be some of the best years of my life watching the black and gold. I hope one day we can find another class act like Ben to lead our team back to the Super Bowl. I hope we dont wait too long

28:40 is so cool. It’s a playoff game. If you lose you’re done, and those Chiefs fans still wanted to show Ben some love and respect. Classy people right there man.

Life long STEELERS fan here. I remember the days of Jack Lambert and Bradshaw. My favorite QB all time is Big Ben. He brought back hope to Steeler nation for sure. The only jersey I've ever owned is his rookie year home, and away sb Jersey from 6th seed win. Gonna miss Ben

I remember back in Super Bowl 43 when Fitzgerald scored that huge touchdown, and everyone in the room was completely defeated. Meanwhile I was smiling and telling them “they left him too much time, we just won this game.” Bro that’s a true story, and I was only 12 years old in a room full of grown ass adults. We were at my dads bosses house where their entire work crew came to watch the game. Man I’ll never forget that night, it was one of the happiest nights of my life. All the memories he’s given us, all those moments of sheer happinesses when we all jumped up off the couch, and yelled our heads off after a crazy play made by Ben. Man I’m gonna miss him so much 😭😭😭

That's one thing you learned as a fan. 7 ALWAYS gives us a chance to win. It's the 2 minute field general making the clutch plays to keep it alive.

I remember the Fitzy TD but I wasn't as confident as you --- I remember TOO MANY years of choking away a big game like during the Kordell Stewart and Neal O'Donnell years LOL --- I just had a really icky feeling we're gonna lose another Super Bowl as Fitzy ran into the endzone to take the lead --- but when I saw Santonio run towards the goal line on the final drive and almost make it in, then I started to BELIEVE in a miracle could actually happen!

In '04 I watched parts of his games in his first season waiting to board one flight or another. That's going back now over seventeen years. Personally, it's reflecting on _how_ Ben Roethlisberger's career has spanned the eras that affects me most. He was an unwavering, steady institution.

Warriors never die. They compete just at different games. Cannot wait to see what game you will play next - Parent, husband, community savant, national impact, or just upstanding citizen. Whatever Big Ben chooses, I will be satisfied. For 19 years, he provided unbelievable entertainment, example of excellence and motivation for me to be better with my life activities - job, play, etc. Thank you. Job well done.
