Utah needs to personally retire him and inform him he's not going to come back and have a spot on the roster. It's that simple.
@stevenvitteКүн бұрын
Cam Rising refuses to retire from college football, but common sense would tell him that he needs to retire after this year. Too many injuries, and at this point he's intentionally taking up a roster spot that's better served for a younger QB. The dude has become a meme, and that's not a compliment.

Admittedly Cam Rising is a great QB especially with that dedication he has
@Math-TulaneКүн бұрын
I think the bigger issue here is that, gridiron football is not exactly an international sport as opposed to baseball or basketball or even volleyball. Hence, rising and McCormick don’t really have any other decent way to make money utilizing their athletics skills outside of college football. If you can’t make it in the MLB or NBA, there are decent opportunities elsewhere. If you know you can’t make it in the NFL, might as well milk as much NIL money as you can.

Seems to be some dishonesty going on in that program. People bet on sports, buy tickets and gear for sports. Invest time and emotion in a team-if he can’t play or can’t play well hurt, seem to be deceptive to say they don’t know or that he is on the roster to compete. Weird behavior for honest men.

It’s time for him to grow up and move on. If he’s only in it for the NIL, 8 years is long enough. He may love football but he doesn’t look like he’ll make it at the next level. Might be time to shut down this constant stream of players staying in college 6, 7, 8 years. Five years max and only one transfer per player.
