Not even a Dallas Stars fan but I hope Benn does not wear a "C" next year. Joe Pavelski clearly proved he is a leader in any quantifiable hockey stat. And more importantly, the unwritten stats. He earned and deserves the "C".

I think Dallas wins the series if they win G6. Dallas has been to the finals with this core, Vegas as not. Hill really came back down to earth tonight, and Otter played great. If that keeps up, I think Vegas is in trouble.

Hill has been great, but last night he made some ridiculous saves that 9 times out 10 go in. The Stars should have scored at least 5 or 6 on him had he not stood on his head to stop pucks that were going to go in.

I’m not really gonna hold my breath. If it goes to game 7 then I’m going to lean towards stats will win, but the insurmountable odds against them haven’t changed. It would still be a statistical .01% chance to pull it off.

At this point I'm happy. After game 3 all I wanted was the Stars not to get swept. That has happened and more. If they lose tomorrow I'll be bummed but not upset. If they win, Vegas will be mentally shattered. They might be already. We'll see.
