When a person in balancing toward running left usually pressure on left Leg down and right leg lift. In this video his left leg raise high I mean high tall wow unbelievable for an unbalancing moment to do that. I can say by looking at this and logically said can be intentional. Re read what I said. He should be sentence for someone life. He think killed and done go to jail and many yrs he out. But someone else life never come back. He should be sentence for life.

Coop has many moments with “junior reporters “ (elementary age) kids. He is AMAZING with them. Even had one come up and take questions from the reporters. Coop is truly the best! He does Coop’s catch for kids every year with all of the Lightning on teams with a couple of kids with cancer and their families. Love our Coach!!!

It's a good bet you have never seen a New Haven Blades -Long Island Ducks game, the penalty time keeper in New Haven always got all over the opposing players in the box and on more than one occasion paid the price for his big mouth.Minor league hockey at it's finest.

Great video, but I gotta ask... Is it me, or do the corners of the rink seem to be a bit more sharp than NHL rinks?

Lol great eye. I'm from Peterborough and yes this rink (The Memorial Center) is famous for its nearly square corners.

Regardless it’s still a slash so high stick or slash it’s still a dumb penalty.

He is a minor official and has responsibilities to maintain some order for his box….BUT, it must be respectful. The player probably realized he was just doing his job and looked like he changed his tune a bit. Having a laugh about it shows how fun hockey guys can be. By the way, as a Ref, I would still called a high stick, but also an embellishment on the other guy.

@italian14882 ай бұрын
Quick honest question, does high sticking ONLY refer to getting hit in the head/face or is the chest still high sticking? Either way it appears that he hit him on the wrist so it would still be a slashing penalty. And it absolutely could’ve be an embellishment on the other guy as well. BUT the puck definitely wasn’t on the guys chest so not sure why he hit him there 🤷🏻♂️. That’s my opinion from a professional beer league player who only plays because there isn’t a draft.
@craiglien60462 ай бұрын
Yes, high sticking is only above the shoulders. It can still be a slashing penalty though. Slashing is usually a bit of a decent wack while high sticking is anything above the shoulders, even soft stuff. Hockey Refs have a bunch of judgement calls but high sticking isn't one. That's where the argument here is.

Thats why I never went far in hockey, no way am I letting some dude get in my face, talk shit and shove me and not drop them. Old dude would be on the floor waking up in a wheelchair in 10 years. IDK who tf people think they are in this world, they think a badge or a piece of paper will stop someone from kicking their teeth in. Your job is to open and shut the door, shut your mouth and do your job old ass dementia patient. Never did I take shit from anyone, and even when I was done with ice hockey ball hockey wasnt any different. Reff tried to choke me out while a player on the other team was throwing punches at me, reff got hit so hard in the head after I was free his ear was bleeding. Turned out to be an "ex pig" or "off duty" and he said the police would arrest me and they were going to call them. Not only did I finish the game after my 5 minute penalty, but the reff was fired for choking me while letting the other team punch me, I got a 1 year ban for "hitting an official". Shit felt so good, I was worth it. The face he made when I connected and he was wobbling was priceless, still makes me laugh.

Smith hit was clean. But I wonder what impact #91’s stick had as a can opener between Bedard’s legs. It’s pretty hard, almost impossible, to change direction when you blow by a player whose stick impedes your leg movement. Bedard’s left leg was behind the stick, the right leg in front. I think he was forced slightly left of straight forward, right into Smith. Don’t look at the hit, look at the legs and #91’s stick as he goes between the two players, and then right into Smith.
