I have honestly watched this movie multiple times with my sister and we couldn’t understand why we love it so much, but after watching these interviews, this has to be the best cast chemistry I’ve seen in a while, Nickelodeon nailed it. The movie is also cool in itself! So fun! The songs are bops haha

As much as the reboot kills my soul as an OG Monster High fan, I can't really bring myself to hate it tbh. I just love the cast so much, especially CeCe. He speaks to me on a spiritual level just because as a follow transmasc enby, I see a lot of myself in him and he just genuinely seems like such a sweet person. All the cast just seems so nice? And they clearly had a fun time on this, so as much as I want to hate, I find it hard to. If the cast wasn't so charming, I feel like the movie would have been doubly offensive, but oddly most of the cast make it sort of work.

I hated the movie it was so bad. Draculaura was never anti-social, Frankie is dumb and does not know what pronouns are. Nobody in the film had no character development. This was not even Monster High.

here are my thoughts on this matter: while KZbinrs put trigger/content warnings for certain reasons, this is a channel for a magazine. I picture magazines having no filter, basically saying what they want, when they want, with no problems at all. the only way to avoid uncomfortable content in magazines is to turn the page, close the magazine, or grab something else to look at. long story short, they never think about what makes people comfortable or uncomfortable, they put it out there without thinking about their reader's reactions. they just have no reasons at all.
