We acquired the scions in 2019, since then I started the propagation and produced thousands of grafted Thai Bao Apple Ber Giant Jujube for the gardeners market. We're selling it cheap at 500 pesos each because we have grown some mother trees for ample supply of scions and lots of seeds for rootstocks. Unfortunately, some unscrupulous propagators got hold of our variety using some backstabbing friends to acquire it from us. And because of the absence of shame in their personalities, they're selling at a price too high after they themselves propagated the plant. To lessen the guilt of some, they invented funny names for it. Others used the original name in some awkward ways also to confuse the gardener buyers that theirs are of different variety. We always sell rare fruit trees at a very low price that everyone can afford, but some propagators were in a hurry to get rich quick and selling their propagated plants at a very exorbitant price! While some are on the scamming side selling inferior jujube variety and giving it cringe names to make it sound classy and attractive to make quick bucks.
