The Starter Deck So OP It Was DELETED From Inscryption

Using the removed starter deck in a run of Inscryption Kaycee's Mod. The removed starter deck had a Rat King, an Alpha and a Warren, and that made it the best deck in the game until it was changed to the current bone deck.

I just realized how powerful the main synergies of the deck, without being altered, are, mainly due to the rabbit. If you put bone king on it, boom, 8 bones, if you put alpha on it, boom, two alphas for just one sacrifice. I DEFINETLEY feel this deck was too op.

The fair hand mechanic was changed, it doesn't draw 0-costs anymore as the last card if you have no playable blood-cost card. Notice how the warren was almost always the last card in the hand. Ijiraq is special in how it breaks the fair hand mechanic.

I noticed this intuitively while playing because I knew about the fair hand mechanic before I ever started playing, so once I was in kaycee's mod if I was relying on that to give me my guaranteed card I'd avoid pelts like the plague because I was scared it'd mess up my fair hand reliance but eventually I got forced into pelts often enough that I noticed it never did! I'd always still get my one blood no matter what, it was a huge relief to figure it out

fun fact: you can never die in 1 turn from any normal incounter. except for 1. if you use boss battles have totems, and the trapper trader gets evolve sigal, it can, because the strange frogs are already on the field, making them evolve and be 2/4, plus the other one that is summoned equals 5 damage.

Before we get into this, I'd like to say my strategy with the current Bone Deck is ALWAYS put Dire Wolf Pup onto Raccoon and look for bone-cost cards. One time I got an Unkillable Raccoon too, and went to The Mycologists to fuse them. Very nice combo! Me like Fledgling'd Bone Digger (it gives you two!). From that DWP onto Raccoon though, I just look for the Lammergeier and the Black Goat.

Skull storm challenge run would be so cool! I'm doing same as you, I've beaten the skull storm with the Vanilla, Goat,Ant and Mantis deck, gonna go for the rest of them for the ultimate inscryption challenge. This video makes me want to try this deck, and also try and make my own (balanced) started deck! Hmmm... maybe a movement deck? Skink,Pronghorn, and bloodhound
