In this event organized by the Black Alumni Association, Michael Powell, the former chair of the Federal Communications Commission, and Deval Patrick, co-director of the Center for Public Leadership, professor of the practice of public leadership, and the former governor of Massachusetts, discuss the state of U.S. leadership in democratic governance, civil rights, technological innovation, digital equity, and corporate accountability in the age of misinformation and distrust of institutions. HKS Dean Doug Elmendorf also provides brief remarks and a question-and-answer session follows the discussion.
