I took about a 5 month break from the game because of how aggressive the play turned into. My kuma just couldn’t keep up with the mix-ups, 70% of the time i will admit it was my fault. Came back and it chilled out some but its still aggressive but more refined like old tekken. The inputs not happening I noticed right away, that wasn’t there when I the demo and the first few versions of the game. Still fun game but they need to do something about rage quitting

Would you believe me if I told you that there are people who play Dragonball sparking zero who think Bandai is going to fix ragequitting there when they can't even control it in their traditional fighting games? 😭

I play it on and off. I’m a casual. Got to tekken king like 2 months ago and stopped playing rank by choice just cause. Life goes on, it’s just a game and games are to relax. If a game is stressing you out, should probably play something else.

@@victor_ylap 💯 Straight facts. If it ain't fun there's no point. I've had a blast playing a ton of other games, both old and new. Alot of the hardcore Tekken players refuse to play anything else besides call of duty and or 2k. Which those are ran by companies as equally shitty as Bandai namco 😭

Loved that new intro stinger, you should roll with it! Maybe have some variants of it depending on what game you're talking about or playing? As for my take on the subject at hand: I went into Tekken 8 feeling genuinely excited at launch. For a solid 2 months I didn't put it down and was grinding in ranked, and training against my ghost character all the time. What made me put it down was a similar feeling to what made me drop Guilty Gear Strive when that first came out: I felt like I was just doing the same thing over and over again. I didn't like that Asuka's moveset was barely half of what it was in 7. Additionally I realized that she was still balanced around Tekken 7 which made her struggle against a lot of characters in Tekken 8, which in turn made a lot of matches very un-fun for me. The bland customization didn't help matters either. The implementation of the Tekken Shop and Namco going after modders was the final nail in the coffin for me. I haven't touched Tekken 8 since July, and even that was only to try out Lidia and it was very brief. I'd love to get back into Tekken, as Tekken 7 is one of my favorite fighting games, but Tekken 8 as it is now just ain't it.

Yeah man I understand completely. Most fun I had with Tekken was during the beta. Ever since that Tekken shop got revealed the first patch I've slowly had more and more distain for that publisher and by extension Tekken 8.

yk what was tekken but better? Soul Caliber 2. To me that was peak SC, but they dropped the ball with there last release
@GoldenGho5tCartelАй бұрын
Most Tekken players don't even acknowledge SC at all and it's just really sad to see.

The state of Tekken 8 in 2024? That would be Georgia.
