my experience with the AS Val was a very good one, but only with 1 playstyle: The Saboteur. You would use Engineer with no armor and the Tandem Rockets and C4, so the idea was to take massive flank routes, doing it quickly because of the fats movement speed (no armor) and destroying a tank with the tandems (had to be precise, only have 1 rocket), using C4 on roads as traps to hide and detonate when a vehicle drives above it (On main roads), and use the AS Val as a low profile assassination weapon for anybody who finds you out, the noise is minimal so people wont really get alarmed if they hear it in the first place, and when you run out of ordinance and ammo, after you destroyed a tank, a btr, and a handful of humvees, ruining the other team's mobility and artillery, you can die, respawn, and do it all over again. Ive had 40+ kill games doing that, with the star of the show, the AS Val.
