Dagan you seriously rock! With the tapping, squeal harmonics, & dive bombing. I can hear the inspiration of Van Halen, Motley, Ratt, Extreme, & it sounds like it would work for the majority of 80’s LA hair metal sunset strip style bands. In all honesty I don’t play in this style & these tones have been elusive to me, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to try. I don’t have a Kramer, I primarily play 80’s Ibanez Roadstars with no locking nut & fancy tremolo system. Also have a Mex Fender Strat. I have a couple of small tube combos which should approximate the amp that you are playing through - Blues Jr. obviously not as nice as your super reverb, & a small Bugera V5 but what I am wondering is this; ideally a good guitar pedal sounds good with both tube & solid state amps. My questions are do you need a Kramer or Jackson to cop those tones? Would this pedal also sound good with a solid state amp such as Peavey Envoy or Bandit?

had the ''butthole burner'' once. gimmick pedal. from clean to flubby, I hear the same stuff with this pedal. flubby in the low end and not enough gain to push through. like all these pre amp, distortion pedals. I've fallen in that trap.

Happy with my Marshall 2501 mk3 jcm 900! I never really play loud but it still sounds amazing low down. And when the wife is out it’ll hit 124db of fucking insanity!🎸 Never tried a sim that matched up to a real big tube amp with a cheap tube screamer clone

@@ticesine6589 only know about the mk3 2500s, mine is modded to take away a fair amount of gain so can’t comment on the stock sound. I heard it can get quite fizzy stock. Mine sounds more like an 800 with a really thick low end depending how far you crank the sensitive knob and gives more gain. I use a tube screamer to push it more with the gain about 9 o’clock and the level 1 o’clock which tightens up the sound.
