I'm only 35, but sadly closer to the end of my journey than I am to it's beginning. I've lived a full life though... laughed, loved, lost... been a hero, been the villain, paid for transgressions, learned some hard lessons... and wouldn't change a thing! I'll ride this thing as long as my (old before its time) body will carry me. I've got one great worldly adventure left, and I look forward to the day I leave on that adventure, to finish out my days on Earth immersed in nature.

Absolutely NOT a criticism of the song itself. Chris Stapleton is and was a great artist. First the Jompson Brothers, then the Steeldrivers, now solo.
