My husband is in that photo. He served with you and was there for that moment . Jesse's name will always be carried with us in our home . He will never be forgotten. We will visit texas one day, u til then he will always be with us. Also remember the ones who make it home and struggle every day.

Media propaganda. The entire team was standing in the hall enroute to head out of the tunnel until the anthem started and then they stopped dead in their tracks to pay respect to our anthem. Look it up and you'll find images showing the entire team standing just over his shoulder, but the media doesn't want to share the real story.....after all it doesn't sell their narrative!

I've actually met Alex Villanueva! He has been in my house haha. My name is Cade Southern and Jesse Detrick was my cousin. He passed away when I was 6 and I unfortunately didn't know him that well. I deeply regret not getting to know him when I was young because I heard he was a great man, but my two older sisters have still told me great stories about him.

Jesse is my cousin. I mourned his loss and I am honored to have known him. And I am no less honored to support every right he fought for, including the one to protest. I can kneel in protest of injustice, to fight for equality for my black son, and still respect everything my cousin did in his short life. One does not disqualify the other.

My boss was a 29er and made it past the beech and a lot of other BS. When he made it personal, he was despite being the president of our company, he told me, "Mike, I only tell you the funny stories about WWII because I did a lot of bad things, I will spend the rest of my life trying to prove to God I am a bit better then I had to be to remain alive." I let him know he nailed it. Just got a smile and a thumbs up. He told me if I would have been allowed to server, I was one of them.

This should be played before every sporting event on the big screen prior to the anthem. Then you make a decision whether to stand or kneel for the anthem. There are people that call Kaepernick a hero for what he did and today Gabe Kepler wants to sit in the clubhouse while the anthem is played. You guys go tell your story to the people grieving today for the loss of the son or daughter lost in battle for the right for you to enjoy the freedom that allows you to play and coach a game that makes you millions.
