I have been watching pro football for 60 years, I’m not a Steeler fan, but, the 1970’s Steelers 4 Super Bowl wins! Are the greatest team I have ever seen! 🏈
@dougamundson68365 күн бұрын
Super Bowls. The Super Bowl is the NFL Championship, nothing more. Please be an adult and talk about championships, NOT Super Bowls. It diminishes EVERYTHING before 1969.

I’ve been a Steelers fan ever since Franco’s immaculate reception, and they were still three years away from winning their first ring. That team was a force to be reckoned with and constantly instilled FEAR in any other NFL organization. That’s something that our fans haven’t seen for years now. And with the ridiculous current coaching staff, it’ll be much longer.

I was a little girl. I came after three brothers. I remember watching the first Super bowl with Namathl and got hooked. I became a Steelers fan after Franco's Emaculate Reception. I was 8 years old. I still love football but back in the 70's it was more exciting. If those Steelers played the Chiefs of today, those Steelers would have creamed the Chiefs!

@@carmela1899 Those Steeler teams played real football! Not the flag football nfl of today! The Steel Curtain would have smashed big mouth Kelce, and Messiah Mahomes into the ground! 🏈

Fun fact: Noll's first two seasons as Steelers coach, he was 6-22...imagine winning six games in your first two seasons as an NFL head coach in 2024-25...you'd be fired...

I specifically remember the 1969 season where Joe Greene, hating to lose, was ejected from 6 games that year of a 14-game season.

Steelers repeated twice ,during sb era ,a accomplishment that hasnt been equaled nor surpassed ,chiefs abiut to equal packers 3 consecutive championships .Steelers competed in a more competitive post season construct ,with more teams being part of the post season formatt than the 60's packers dynasty,a packers dynasty upon whom my respect for is emmense ,a packers dynasty in which arguably had the greatest headcoach and greatest collection of talent in nfl history. The Steelers 70's dynasty also reseve respect, arguably the greatest collection of talent in nfl history,a assessment ,three time sb winning , headcoach Bill Walsh stated about the Steelers 70's dynasty ,as well as a top 5,6 all time headcoach. Steelers dynasty during the most competitive era in nfl history during the 70's made playoffs a afc conference record 8 consecutive times ,4 sb victories in a 6 yr period , again in a more competitive post season formatt than packers 60's championship dominance time frame . Im not dismissing the dynasty packers championship pedigree,the championship packers teams in my objective opinion would've been a championship team inthe 70's , but the Steelers would've also accomplished the same inthe 60's ,and deserve respect .

I don't give a Damn about some guys named Mahomes or Brady or Montana. The Greatest Quarterback Ever is Terry Bradshaw!! And this is coming from a Once Long OAKLAND Raiders Fan! I don't want to Hear nothing about Old Joe Super Bowl Too! I'll give'em credit for the first one, but the other 3 Eddie D. Bought & Paid For those Rings! And as for Troy & his Damn Cowboys their Dirtbag Owner who's name I won't even mention Bought & Paid For All 4 of Those Rings! NONE EARNED! The 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers Built and Won those World Championships the Old way... They EARNED them! That's They're the GREATEST TEAM EVER!
