One thing I don't see people talking about on the red zone interception is the defender pushed off of Darnell. Should've been PI, and kept Darnell from being in better position for the catch and gave the defender illegal separation to get the ball

Our red zone efficiency would definitely be higher if we used fields in run packages with heavy TE sets. Having Heyward, Naj, Warren in the backfield and then having Washington, Muth, Williams as blockers and then have Pickens running underneath across the field, that opens up a lot of opportunities and offers run or pass options with that look

Also I give Russell a lot of credit for not throwing stupid interceptions. And with Russell it's not going to be important what his throwing percentage is because he's going to have his opportunities for scoring plays

I don’t expect Mike Tomlin to increase Mike Will’s snap count until our next Sunday game as than he’ll have enough time to be acclimated into the offense but what I hope for is: 1. More intermediate passes/targets to Pat Freiermuth 2. Reduce penalties of Broderick Jones 3. Increase OT pass protection against a the browns DL 4. More involvement of Calvin Austin in the intermediate/short part of the field and less involvement in go routes/deep down field pass attempts (use those for Pickens & Mike)

You need good hands WR's in the Red Zone.. GP/MW/PF as a mains targets and Jaylen and Connor no to VJ and DW. We need to use JF on RPO plays to change it up and 3 and short plays ? Go Steelers !

It was just an unfortunate circumstance with Darnell Washington you can't blame Russell for rainbowing that ball because you have someone who is 6 ft 7 back there in the end zone but I think Russell knew that when he threw it it was the wrong decision right off the bat and also Darnell didn't help one bit by making any kind of a play on the ball

RW3 Has only played 4 games, so pump the brakes as he is still getting acclimated to the offense and WR room. And the Giants Games from a macro standpoint RW3 scored 2 TD's in the Redzone but was negated by BJ illegal use of hands and GP not getting his feet down. Let's be realistic

Why in the hell was Mike Williams not utilized? I can't stand Arthur Smith. The Dude can't seem to be an OC without stepping on his crank and trying to outsmart himself. We were going against the worst cornerbacks in the league with a QB who thrives on the long pass. Instead AS decides to throw short passes all day. We should've been hucking that ball back n forth from Pickens to Williams along the sidelines.They are both awesome at contested catches.

They were playing 2 high all game to protect the deep ball. The hang up I have is that Jefferson shouldn’t be on the field much at all at this point. That was the whole point of bringing Williams in.
