Not all addicts are bad people, but they are each and everyone of them a human being. Everyone deserves to be treated with kindness as a human being no matter their circumstances!

This is a bit of a rant but I have to get it off my chest: As an Australian, I’m gobsmacked at how poor / broken the American healthcare system seems to be. Ollie’s story is a heartbreaking example. Healthcare should be FREE like it is here. No discrimination at all no matter what. It’s free & very good, end of story. We don’t allow naturopathic clinicians, chiropractors etc to call themselves “MD or Dr” & prescribe drugs. It’s illegal. I hope Ollie can hang in there & recover naturally as he seems to want to or get help from Dr B & this group. He’s a hero coming this far already by pulling himself out of such shocking mismanagement. USA is supposed to be the leader in all things but it’s not - what happened? How can it be corrected? Perhaps look at other countries & ban advertising any medicines on tv & ban fast food advertising at mealtimes & ads directed at kids. Type 2 diabetes in childhood is mind blowing. I don’t understand how children eat breakfast & big hot lunches at school. What’s wrong with providing free fruit only? Apologies again if I’ve spoken out of place.

Thank you for taking time to leave that thoughtful comment. You make way too much sense and I agree 110% with everything you said. That’s why Dr. B and I are here every weekend to bring awareness on these things and hopefully do our part to create the changes necessary to help human beings heal. Looking forward to having you back.

Thank you. My aunt left the US 40 years ago to become an Australian citizen. I am so sorry about the current madness your government is doing under the pretense of stopping Covid-19. Scary stuff. Canada also going crazy. The US has always been crazy. We spend 35% of our total Federal budget on military and Federal prisons. State law enforcement and prisons are worse. We say we have no money for Healthcare, but never run out for the military or locking people up. We have a broken 2 party system our Founding Fathers warned us against. Bless you Aussies! Robert Whitaker is my personal hero lol. I did Ayahuasca with 6 Aussies in Ecuador. The best people ever. I didn't drink or eat meat for a year after that. The medicine told me to stop.

Thank you for being so welcoming and caring today - your encouragement made a difference and brightened my day! I enjoyed a thought I heard lately about obstacles that come into our lives. "It is not CAN we get around this obstacle but HOW will we get around this obstacle." I appreciate you both continuing to spread awareness and fighting stigma so please continue making a difference and leading to change in the lives of others!
