Ordered a set of DWS06+ in 225/45r18 this weekend. Glad to hear they are good with a stage 1 tune. Needed an all season since I live in Michigan

I’ve had fire hawk AS V/2s for 11 months and they’re literally slicks now lol. Thanks for saving me the research time 🙏🏾 What are your thoughts on wheels? I also have a black car and can’t find anything that I like.

Happy to help man, For wheels go with either a 18 or 19, 8.5 +43 with spacers or +35 with a bit of camber

I'm looking at getting Neuspeed Rse10's in hyper black finish, look up the video GLI underrated, it's a 2 minute video or so and the guy has a black gli with those wheels in it so you can see what they'd look like on one.

The fire hawks seem nice but I just don’t feel comfortable with that low tread wear. I plan on getting tvs’s stage 2+ with a pair of dws 06+

The dws06 last way longer than the indy500s no doubt. Tbh i think i can get about 17-19k out the set of indys with driving the car hard every time I get in it. I think the dws06 lasted about 20k but i had some inner wear issues which cut the life short. Most tread was still around 50%

mmmm ok that’s good to know I’ll see how they do and maybe switch to the extreme contact sport 02’s afterwards. I don’t really plan on driving it anywhere besides the highways

You mentioned the stock tires having a large side wall for an 18 inch wheel on this car. What did you mean by that? I’m on stock ride height and I ran a 235/40/18 and it just looked funny and small.

So the stock tires are 225/45/18, its pretty large for what MOST people want. If you are lowered on coilovers and tucking a bit depending on the wheel you may rub. If you are stock ride height then it may look funkier with a small sidewall. Sorry i didn't clarify that much.

@@Mk7John All good! That makes perfect sense. I’m looking for a set of all seasons to replace the stock tires. I’m debating Conti DWS06+ and Michelin PSAS4. Do you have any experience with the Michelin’s?

The PSAS4 I haven't tried personally. But i do know someone who ran them on another car and really likes them. They are probably a great tire tbh

Havent personally owned them, i have tried them on another car and they were good in terms of grip and cornering but idk about life
