For international stocks due to banking limitations your dividends is just used to increase your stock holdings. So if you get $50 worth of dividends it will be automatically used to buy more of the shares you hold. For Nigeria shares it is different as there are no banking limitations. Each Dividend share you are invested in have their procedures to credit the dividends to your bank account. Once you complete the procedure once for a stock it will be automatic going forward. It involves filling a form with your payment details. Contact your broker if you own a dividend stock and you are yet to do that.

And pls can you explain what full bid means,are there any instances where by, i wont be able to sell my shares i.e no one is willing to buy, can you also explain what a market and limit order is? Thanks in anticipation

You will always be able to sell your shares. It also depends on the price you want. If you offer to sell for the market price it would be sold immediately because there are people waiting to buy for that price. But if your price is way to high than the current market price you will have to wait till the value of the share rise to that price. Market Order is buying or selling at the last price a transaction was concluded. If you go to the market now and the Aboki tells you yam is 2,000 (because someone just bought it for that same price in your presence) that is the market price or market order. But you might say “Aboki, no o. Me I don’t have 2,000. I only have 1,500 to pay for this yam. That is a limit order. You are renegotiating the price for yourself. You understand?
