No "book", neccessary. How it works: The market sucks in billions of capital over long periods of time, and rises slowly over months/years. Then, a storm crash wipes it all away in less than a day. A few sell with profits, while the rest hold the bags until the next crash. Permanent bag holder, here...But, at least my positions are payed for in dividend reimbursements...

Very well said about taking the "EMOTION" out of the market. Discounted, high-quality companies will survive, and you might want to consider that the market dip can be a buying opportunity. Averaging down your over-all cost of a stock can be a huge boom when the market recovers.

I was way too top heavy on O for my liking just before this dip. I sold my entire position and put 80% of it just into the s&p 500. I wanted to make an etf up to 60% of my entire portfolio. I think in the long run this will be safer and see better results

I just stayed the course and DCA on all of my investment holdings. We all know in 6 months time, we will all be wishing we bought more vs panic selling on the way down. I don’t think Powell will make an emergency rate cut, so let’s embrace the fire sale, and keep chugging forward. Keep some powder dry as when rates cut commence, that is when the true drop will happen. I can’t wait!

Thank you! I've been doing this for almost 4 years now, it's definitely been a lot of trial and error. The best advice I can give is to study your channel's analytics in the KZbin Studio. Learn about things like click through rates and retention rates and practice optimizing them. If you can do that and make improvements over time, the rest should fall into place.

I'm a bit torn on IBM. It's definitely had a nice run up this last year, but the revenue and earnings look like they've been steadily declining over the last 10 years which is a bit concerning. The debt situation isn't too bad though, and margins look like they're improving in some places. Overall, there's other things I'd rather own

Thanks for sharing! I’m not sure if this changes things for you, but Visa is not responsible for the debt accumulated by the people who use their cards. Visa is just a payment network. The card issuer, which would be the individual’s bank, for example, would be on the hook for the unsecured debt.
