I have a different perspective. I would have to strongly disagree that people are who they think they are... they aren't even what they want to be overall - very generally speaking. They are the sum total of the patterns that they carve out throughout their path of life with their actions. I think you need to be mindful of where you put your trust. In the great word of Waka flocka 😅 "I can't trust myself so hell no I can't trust you." I felt those to be the truest lyrics to me at the time - they have helped me to remember that I can't expect perfection from others as I am not perfect. Maybe trust in the universe, God, the most High first instead of people and definitely move on when you feel things no longer serve you. This without annomosity - perhaps also putting a time-frame on others evolution as human beings makes you feel as though most don't come around but sometimes it just takes more time than you are willing to wait. I think that for me, the better solution is to stop overthinking and placing all of those expectations on others - to give freely without expectation whatsoever. That will save you a lot of grief. Blessings come in different ways.. if you stop expecting a return from the specific people that you feel that you have given to, you will have space to notice that you can and do receive blessings from others.. that energy is never lost, just "repurposed, repositioned" and will flow back to you in other ways, in other areas and through other people if you let it... reposition your focus. By doing that you will also allow yourself to be pleasantly surprised at times - chose abundance over scarcity, it's a choice. Lastly, I think things mostly go wrong with others when we refuse to accept that some people are just in our lives for a season and we need to let go and some are there for a reason and not all reasons. We also most times fall into the trap of giving some the importance that was meant for another and that misfit can be the cause of grief. Now the reason why we do this is a subject in and of itself.

Always trust God. It's true, sometimes though my mind tries to create reasons for patterns I recognize in the things I go through, its been a challenging journey for me to accept that certain things are outside of my control and current understanding. I love what you said about putting a timeframe on peoples evolution, everyone is maturing, growing, changing at their own pace and sometimes they are not quite at the level of understanding or maturation that we are, and that doesn’t mean that they will never be, it just means that for now our paths are different. You have a really interesting perspective overall, and I agree with most of what your saying, The sum of the patterns that they carve out throughout their path is very interesting. It’s true that people often don’t even realize how much they are influenced by the world around them. Im curious, what are your thoughts on free will?
