So Arthur’s ghost model is the Timothy model because there was no suitable model matching Arthur’s basis. I remember commenting about it when the episode came out and victor replied himself and said it was because it was the only “ghost” model

23:50 Yeah, I was going to mention, it seemed like he changed his mind on that and had it officially be 1935. The wedding happens in September 1936 after all. 1:03:03 There could be some other incident where Duck crashed into a barber shop.
@twmallard389 ай бұрын
1. Yeah, I can see that they were both built in 1935, but the stories they were introduced in happened after the express incidents, which definitely take place in 1936 2. That's the problem, as Duck would have definitely mentioned something about it, or got teased by Diesel, and seeing as the book was released in 1958, and the event is yet to happen as of this video, another case of life imitates art

I just like to point out one of the inconsistencies with Daisy appearing in a book before she showed up was that he hadn't read much of the books, which goes for almost all of us since we grew up on the tv series format. I didn't even know about the books until I was older, or at the very least I hadn't read them yet.

😄 Yeah that was pretty funny how he said "built" instead of "born" and it was actually in the year of 1911 that Wilbert was born. After all during the release of the 42nd railway series book in 2011 it was to celebrate Wilbert's centennial birthday if he would have still been alive during that time despite his death in 1997. 😥

Here are the events that happened in Season 6 so far: S6E1 - Recovery (1965) - After the disasters of 1965, including the death of Mickey, Derek has become the new chief of the Fire and Rescue Service and has taken up counseling like his predecessor, and he has to deal with two new problems that have arisen: Henry freezes up when he comes anywhere near the Flying Kipper due to his and Geoffrey's accidents, the latter of which caused the red engine's death; while Percy, still grieving over Thomas' death, has become very erratic, lashing out against the others on the Ffarquhar Branch and occasionally having hallucinations about Thomas' corpse. Thanks to Derek's help, Percy is able to move on from Thomas' death, while Henry is able to work his way back into taking the Flying Kipper after a talk with Robert Hall. Unfortunately, Henry's and Geoffrey's accidents with the Flying Kipper would lose the fishermen a lot of money, and as such, when 1966 rolled around, they decided not to renew that contract, and the Flying Kipper was decommissioned. S6E2 - Informant (1966) - An informant, Seymour Philips, is sent to Sodor, which would ultimately result in a surprise inspection regarding the NWR's role in the disasters of 1965, initially suspecting that it was because of Sir Topham Hatt's leadership being too lax. As Philips toured around Sodor, James, Gordon, and Henry suspect that Francis may have had something to do with his presence on Sodor, which is soon revealed to be not true. It's also mentioned that Francis and Barry would become Geoffrey's and Peter's replacements respectively after their deaths. S6E3 - Leadership (1966) - The final results of the inspection come in, and the NWR was cleared of any wrongdoing for the disasters of 1965. Nevertheless, Sir Topham Hatt announces his retirement, and his successor is appointed, Ronald Watson. Mr. Watson would briefly go on an economy drive to streamline services, shutting down facilities, sacking workmen, and combining goods trains into longer ones that require two or even three engines to pull. One such project was an improvement to the interchange between the Main Line and the Brendam Branch to increase efficiency, which would also entail the closure of the yards at Wellsworth. However, he would soon learn learn the error of his ways after looking through the files of the NWR's engines, especially after Edward helped Donald up Gordon's Hill after he had broken down. Mr. Watson, through his business skill and leadership advice from Sir Topham Hatt, was able to turn the NWR around, allowing more capital for more engines to undergo Steam-Diesel Conversion. At this point, Donald had undergone SDC, and Edward explained in Experiment that he would also undergo SDC as well. Edward is also shown to be in the works with Duck, Molly, and Arthur, implying that they also underwent SDC as well. S6E4 - Troublemaker (1966) - The junction for the Brendam Branch is completed, and the yards at Wellsworth are closed. Thankfully, nearly all the men who worked in that yard were reassigned to new jobs around the island, but one Holgate, would be sacked. Soon after, Dudley is brought onto the NWR for a trial, who would soon prove to be more trouble than it was worth, especially after learning about the presence of Bruce and how Donald underwent steam-diesel conversion. He and Holgate would eventually trap Boco in a siding so that he could take the express, which would incite anger after Mr. Watson found out about his record, including how he assaulted two diesels. As such, Mr. Watson decides to end Dudley's trial early, and reassigns Boco to the Brendam Branch. Dudley would be enraged by this, would would soon slam into Boco in a fit of rage. As such, in addition to his trial being terminated, Dudley would also be arrested on the spot and sent to Railgate. Unfortunately, Dudley would be killed en-route to Railgate when he was smashed by a diesel that had missed a red signal. S6E5 - Limits (1967) - After the closure of Wellsworth Yard, the land was bought by Sodor Council, who had it turned into a park, and it is announced that Queen Elizabeth II would be arriving on Sodor to cut the ribbon for the park's grand opening. In addition, Mr. Watson would begin giving the engines radios to allow for quick communication no matter where they are on the island. Unfortunately, Dudley's words would permeate the mind of Daisy, causing her to question if she could do more than she was built for. She would learn sense after breaking down twice; once when she tried to bank Boco up Gordon's Hill, and the other when she tried to arrange a train for Samantha after The Duchess had pulled into port. After a pep talk with Brian, where he explains that she should make her limits her greatest strength, Daisy decides that she should stick with being a passenger engine, and she would prove herself when she would carry the Queen the rest of the way when the royal express broke down. S6E6 - Losses (1967) - After the completion of the Vicarstown Road Bridge, the Skarloey Railway begins suffering financially from buses and lorries taking their jobs, which is made worse after the passing of Sir Handel Brown from a heart attack. Sir Handel's successor would be Mr. Mannering, and he would end the transfer contracts with the NWR, the contract instead going to Norton Trucking. Stuart worries that the SKR would go the way of the Mid-Sodor Railway, but his perspectives would change at the slate quarry when Onslow puts himself on the line to protect him from a runaway slate train after the winch gave way. Soon after, the Boxford Ballast Mine would close and be turned into a museum. The cooperation between the Skarloey Railway and Norton Trucking would soon become a major powerhouse on Sodor, which would only become stronger when the Sodor Bus Company joined in, creating a strong partnership that continues to this day. S6E7 - Arlesdale (1967) - The Arlesdale Railway is formed to exploit the ballast heaps of the former MSR, and it is built as a miniature railway, with three engines, Rex, Mike, and Bert, being brought on to run it. Although it was initially intended to be an industrial line, demand for passenger services would soon result in the railway trialing passenger trains. During one such trip, Rex would accidentally strike an infamous cow named Buttercup, seriously injuring her; to make matters worse, she was pregnant at the time, causing Rex to worry that he may have just taken two lives. Thankfully, Buttercup would make a full recovery and would give birth to a healthy calf. Despite this incident, the passenger trials were a success, and coming into 1968, work on the railway would continue to improve its passenger capabilities. S6E8 - Musician (1968) - Work on the Arlesdale Railway was conducted rather quickly, as the presence of the MSR before them meant that the land was already graded accordingly; all they had to do was replace the rails. Soon enough, the railway would open for service on April 1. During one of Rex's trips, he would come across a figure known as Mrs. Fletcher, a woman who had been waiting for her husband to return for many years, and would always play a sad piano piece as the engines passed by. It's soon revealed that her husband, Horace Fletcher, had died out at sea in 1941, and Mrs. Fletcher herself was killed when her house was bombed during the Blitz; this meant that the "Mrs. Fletcher" being seen now was actually a ghost. The story of Mrs. Fletcher would remind Mike of Matilda, a girl he became close to on his old railway who had similarly lost her husband. After Mike convinced her to move on from her husband and told her the story of Matilda, Mrs. Fletcher and her house would disappear, but not without playing one last song. S6E9 - Protestors (1968) - A wave of protests arrives on Sodor, most of which being environmental protests. While these protests are mostly peaceful, there were some that took things to the extreme, with one such incident being the spilling of pig's blood at one of the yards on the Waterton Branch, which was witnessed by Wendell, William, and Toad, who were subsequently talking with Joey. During one of his trips, Wendell comes across one of the protesters, a man by the name of Norman Grant, and they talk about the ethics of protests. That night, a security guard by the name of Kyle Baxter is killed while pursuing a man who had been caught vandalizing the yard, an incident that was partially witnessed by Toad. After this incident, the police begin to crack down on the protesters, which inevitably leads to conflict and suspicions of corruption, especially after Wendell and Toad share their findings with Joey, including a picture that Grant had secretly taken of one of the constables, Rollins, having an affair. With the truth out, the credibility of the police force was put into question, and Constable Rollins was arrested for his part in the scandal, while Norman Grant was arrested for attempted vandalism and for the death of Kyle Baxter. It's also revealed that Grant was the one who drew graffiti on Toad back in 1965 during that year's police strike. As investigations went on, it was revealed that much of the force was complicit in the corruption scandal, which would lead to many being discharged from the force and arrested.

And I will certainly remember to mention you when I get around to making the Remaster of this. Truth was that I'm not exactly proud of this video above, so reediting it all is what I intend to complete next year once Season 6 finally airs. I do appreciate this comment, for it does appear I've missed a few events in my script, so I'll be sure to add additions once it's SOS is wrapped for Season 6.

Stupid Character Limits... S6E10 - Adjustment (1968) - During the scandal, allegations are made against Joey for his part in the ordeal, and as such, he is suspended from the force pending further investigation of his record. While helping out on the Ffarquhar Branch, Joey comes across a man by the name of Elliot Dobson, whom he recognized from a prior case; specifically, the death of his wife, Helen Dobson, back in 1963. Its also revealed that he had a serious gambling problem back then, and that he had since gotten together with a woman named Agatha. The next day, Joey's superior, Lenny, informed him that the he has been proven innocent in his allegations, and that he would be reinstated into the force; the constable who ratted him out, Murphy, had only done so to save his skin. As Joey reports his finding to Lenny, they soon put the pieces together and go to interrogate Elliot and Agatha, with the police in tow. It's soon revealed that Helen was still alive, and that Agatha had attempted to murder her; assuming that she was dead, she had thrown her body into the river. Elliot would violently push Agatha in a fit of rage, accidentally killing her after she hit her head; Elliot would soon be arrested under suspicion of committing murder. Unfortunately, while the case was solved, Joey and Lenny would be hit with criminal charges due to their methods. As such, Joey and Lenny decide to resign from the force, knowing that they will be sent to Railgate if they don't. That night, while the two engines talk to Percy and Toby about the situation, Mr. Watson arrives to give the two engines a new lease on life, and the two happily accept their new jobs. Lenny would join the Fire and Rescue Service, becoming Derek's partner, while Joey would be assigned to the Ffarquhar Branch, effectively becoming Thomas' replacement. As for the scandal, 33 crooked cops would be arrested, and it would take a long time for the police force to regain trust and credibility. Elliot Dobson would be deemed not guilty for Agatha's death and would be released, but the financial burden of the case would result in him having to sell his house and move elsewhere. Some time later, Joey asks to be painted blue, his favourite colour; all the while, Joey has become very popular with the passengers.
