I'm so grateful that Lamp is gaining all of the recognition and love they deserve, and I am also thankful for the audience and the fanbase including you (the author) that make Lamp's music widespreaded. I can not say that I found Lamp but to be correct Lamp found me. I was at my edge of my life experiencing the most stressful moments of my life. During 2021-2022, I had the most intense examinations forthcoming; therefore, any signs of mentally unstablity is unavoidable. I got so insecure about my grades, my appearance, my way of living and somehow got myself involved in a nihilistic way of living ( An philosophy that indicates that life has zero meaning. For that reason, there is little meanings for us to keep on moving ). Obviously, it was horrible for me, I couldn't trust anyone, my idealogy was deformed and my conception of life is also twisted. Fortunately, Lamp came across me and adopted me. During that hard time, I felt like all of my bottled emotions spilled out like an untangled mess, but at the end it was an nice untangled mess. Lamp's music contains a lot of unexplained emotions but pleasant, it;s just like when you stare at a perfect blue sky and you got an complicated feelings that you feel uncanny yet calm. Lamp is not powerful in giving you motivation but it is extremely influential in ensuring you can feel the beauty, the love and the peace in life. Lamp is totally a friend group that will lift you up while you're having a breakdown and say "Let's go and see the sunset", "Look the sky is very blue today""Woah the view from the window is lovely, wanna go and take a look?". Lamp makes sure that you value the little things in life. I love lamp sm

'Yume', in my humble opinion, is Lamp's best work (at least my favorite). It's more modern and it's a bit of an acquired taste, but every song there is a HARD hitter. 'Symphony' is easily my favorite intro for any album ever.

Thank you so much for making this video! LAMP literally saved my life. Around 2017 I was having an extremely hard time, but I found some LAMP songs which helped me apeace myself whenever I felt I couldn't hold it any longer. Yokaze is still, to this day, a song that feels like pure honey going directly to my soul.

Man can't believe I've only found your video now. I'll say that Lamp exists as one of the few bands that flew to the top of my list the moment I first heard their music, quite the feat for someone who takes pride in an admittedly obsessive attitude towards expanding my musical repertoire. Having dived down the MPB rabbit hole Yume appeared before me and you could definitely say it was like a dream, truly a brilliant group.

I can't really think of any other band that manages to put so much of themselves into their music. There's no other reason that nearly all international fans say that, despite the language barrier, they understand the themes of the songs and as long time listeners, have been able to draw this portrait of the members of the band that, at least for me, was only justified by reading their interviews.

will never forget that summer of 2021 where i was really addicted to youtube channels creating their own japanese band albums then all of a sudden Rainy Tapestry from For Lovers played. Fell inlove with their sound immediately and the rest is history. For Lovers is my favorite album of their and will always have a special place in my heart. My top 2 album of all time under Mac Miller's Circles and above Khalid's American Teen. My favorite song of theirs is definitely Behind the Moon Shadow. it's what i imagine love sounds like. they've also been consistent being my top 1, 2, or 3rd most played artist every year when spotify wrapped comes along. man i love lamp live love lamp

Lamp and their music saved me during my thesis years and even after, they have been my go-to when I need to uplift myself. I accidentally stumbled on Lamp as I was looking for Japanese songs to share in a small activity in my Japanese Language elective class. Their music instantly clicked with me as it kind of captured how I was feeling and at the same time gave me relief. I held onto their music as I was delayed for graduation and burnt out of 8 years in college. I began to love their music more when I discovered their Latin influence especially Bossa Nova and Samba which were my favorite genres of world music when I play drums or guitar. I've long wanted to cover some of their songs but couldn't find the confidence or time. Maybe because I was busy struggling internally with myself for quite some time. But now 3 years after discovering Lamp, I think I'm a better shape and state, I think I might give it a try soon. Dusk to Dawn is another gem especially Misty Town! I this video was a lot longer as Lamp is severely underrated and undocumented.
