Shouldn't you at LEAST KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT THE LAW? To be a Congressperson means you're going to be working with all lawyers, who will be able to run circles around anyone who isn't. Just something to think about. You can't run a country of existing laws, without knowing anything about the process OF those laws. Just saying...... Plus, you can care a whole LOT about people, but how are you going to actually help them without knowing the process of how to go about it? To do that is extreme naivety, and those IN DC will eat you alive, or just ignore you. Unless, you have tons of knowledge at your fingertips and study day and night about the governance of our country.

Leslie Josey it makes perfect sense it went down the way it did. Let’s start off with why she came out when she did and not sooner. Many people who go through sexual assault, man or woman, tend not to report it. Later in life, if they see that the person who assaulted them is gaining a position of power and they have matured to the state where they are able to speak up, they do it during this point to stop him from gaining power. It’s not political because it has to do with her wanting justice and believing he shouldn’t have that power because of what he’s done to her. After so many years, going to the police would be futile. There wouldn’t be any evidence that could prove without a reasonable doubt that he did it. Now, you don’t need without a reasonable doubt to sway the people, just enough evidence that makes people question if he did it or not. Also, why didn’t she come out when he was trying to become a judge? Maybe she wasn’t ready to speak up and didn’t feel like that level of power was enough for him to do widespread damage by abusing it. She went to the Dems because that would be the easiest way to get her message out there. Now, why was she silent after the fact? Because she lost. He assumed power and once he’s in, nothing she says will matter so she doesn’t want to be in the spotlight anymore since she was being harassed by republicans on the daily and feeling pressure from dems. She was exhausted and could be a not public person. The dems stopped talking about it cause there’s always something new to jump on in the days of the 24 hour news cycle, especially with this administration. It makes perfect sense things went the way they did if she is/was telling the truth. It really doesn’t look shady at all.
