Follow Me has got to be one of the best breakdowns in the history of trance. I can remember hearing it for the first time and it brought tears to my eyes, it felt like an Angel had just entered the room. It felt like i was in heaven. This was the beauty of true Trance music.

Great stuff - first time ive actually heard him speak haha. He was definatly one of the best Trance producers in the late 90's - such an unmistakable uplifting style. Its still his best era imo.

These interviews are great. I was a teenager in Massachusetts during Trance's heyday. Where I grew up there weren't many resources to get to know dj/producers like we have today. Lange has some great productions. Great work Twan.

Totally agree! Like when they announced there would be a Dumonde remix of Symsonic, it was sooo hyped up, and they STILL delivered a massive tune! Props to them, one of the all-time great producers imo. Talk about "signature sound", if there ever was one, Dumonde has it while still not being repetitive.

Lange for me is criminally under rated. He is one of my trance heros being as I was the right age at the right time to be clubbing during the peak trance years. For me he deserves to be spoken of in the same esteem as the likes of ferry amd push. His remix of Fiji is god tier.

another great interview. I used to email him to ask about some of his simple but effective techniques. Very nice guy. My favorite song is I believe. Anyone remember the I Believe remix competition in Future Music in 2000? It was April 2000 - the issue w/ the MS2000 on the cover. I still keep a complete FM archive form issue 1 to issue 150 in the studio and I'm looking at at it right now. That was a lot of fun.

This is a great series! I remember when I first heard his remix of DJ Sakin - Protect your mind, it was just next level to anything I'd heard at the time and it got me hooked. I actually ran an unofficial Lange website back then that got quite popular, it was fun times! Glad to see he still doing great!
