Frieren has managed to surprise me not necessarily because of its animation or its story, which are impressive in themselves, but because of that soundtrack, is practically perfect and accompanies each scene as if it were part of it.

I consider you to be my animation and art industry knowledge engine. Hearing you speaking on these artists that most people don't realize worked for productions like this, it inspires me and make me strive for this exact goal I've had for years and now I am closer than ever. Man no WONDER that 2D dragon looked so good, Yutaka Nakamura you are an animation god. I am a huge fan of creatures and monsters, and seeing well animated 2D monsters brings me joy. I strive to be one of the best 2D/3D creature animators out there. Keep up the good content pretentious!

The Frieren anime is what happens when an anime production can reach its fullest potential. If only something like JJK could get the same treatment(not in terms of talent, but time or I should say schedule and how the production is organized). Frieren isn't over yet and based on how good it has been so far it will probably be my anime of the year. My top 3 anime of 2023 are Vinland Saga S2, Frieren and JJK S2.

what is imai working on any idea currently? Do you think he will contribute to solo levelling? Apart from this, Frieren has the potential to probably be in my top 10 best animes of all time (not read the manga). The mature writing and story, the delivery of jokes, not treating the audience like 12 year olds is a treat to watch. Also the Stark vs Dragon is not what i expected when i read the story of frieren initially, its so beautiful, credit must be given to evan call for the great music as well, he conveys rush, quickness, rapidity, and adrenaline through his composition truly a master. Thanks for the video!

The second cour has definitly started showing small cracks, but nothing major. They have outsorced a decent amount of episodes wich helps. Not going to get into spoilers, but ep 25 will most likley be the big animation highlight of the second cour. Definitly something to look forward to
