I hope future generations of hockey fans don't just look at numbers and undermine Kane & Toews. No one besides Crosby came close to these when it mattered, you just knew they were gonna take over games in the biggest moments of the series and the other teams couldn't do anything to stop it.
@paulwt97835 ай бұрын
Maybe Toews they can do that, Kane's numbers are already historically good and he's still going. He's 18th in league history in adjusted points. 38th in actual points, 30th in assists. top 25ish in offensive point shares. Top 40 in even strength goals. Led the 2010s in points. But yes w these 2 the stats (even Kane's which are great) do not tell the story.

There are factual errors in this video. #1. The Cup drought spoken of earlier in this video was actually 49 years instead of 47. #2. At 16:15 of the video you stated that the Blackhawks lost to the Blues in the 2016 playoffs in 7 games and would go on to win it all. Truth: the Blues did NOT go on to win the Stanley Cup that post season of 2016. The Blues won the Stanley Cup at the conclusion of the 2019 season, NOT the 2016 season. #3. Kane was NOT ensnared in the supposed "franchise-wide sexual abuse scandal". You are wrong here. He played NO PART in that situation, just like every other Blackhawks player from that team, and was absolved of any wrongdoing.

This is libel and I hope he sees it at some point. The accuser Ms Pandolfi (now Mrs Betron) was not paid, which is why the 'case' broken down. Her social media for the last 10 years is all online, you will find she at no point saw a cash infusion of millions of dollars into her life. Pandolfi stopped working w police when her hoax fell apart after her mother got caught lying and fabricating evidence, and their own lawyer quit on them, and her friends refused to back up her lies in court as she had planned on them doing. DNA evidence, witness evidence, every kind of evidence said she lying. The DA dismissed the charges in emphatic language, called it a so-called case rife w reasonable doubt, said he didn't believe her, and indicated he was closer to charging her than him.
@paulwt97835 ай бұрын
@@ws9897 No, they were dropped in very strong language by the DA. Go look up what he said. His basic tone was not just "we aren't sure what happened" but "yea we're pretty sure she's lying". She had a get rich quick scheme and it failed miserably bc she tried to play chicken in an extortion attempt of the coolest customer in NHL history. She honestly thought Pat Kane of all people was going to panic under pressure and break down and give in.

@@blackbirdflyyx You're correct it was a hoax and was proven to be so, but you are incorrect that there was any payment of any kind. Kane did not pay them a dime. The girl was on social media the whole time, still is. Her life is very normal and there is nothing indicating she made any kind of huge windfall around that time or ever. She's had a 9 to 5 since then and her family is still lower middle class living. Kane and his family are the coolest customers on earth.
