Awesome 🙂👌🏻💫. I was looking forward to this one with Paul Oakenfold, one of the greatest of all time. I really enjoyed it 🌌. The videos & interviews that we can watch and enjoy in this fantastic channel are extraordinary. Not only do we get to know a lot of information, curiosities, anecdotes and details behind many legendary electronic music tracks & artists, but we can also learn interesting and usefuls things from it and within the spheres of music, music production, DJing and some other ones. This interview to Paul Oakenfold is really good and useful 🙂👌🏻⭐👍🏻. He opens himself in such an enriching, generous and humble manner, for us to know, to understand and to learn from his deep knowledge, vision, experience and talent. Oakenfold is such a true electronic music (and music) living legend. His influence, contributions, DJing, music productions and legacy are extraordinary. He has had a big influence and impact in many artists, music producers / music creators, DJs and music & electronic music lovers and that alone is priceless. Moreover, Paul Oakenfold is one of the very few chosen ones who can be considered the godfathers, or fathers, or creators of Trance music. He is one of the main ones who opened doors and led the way when Trance music was born, and in its later & further development and success, with a lot of talent, vision, dedication and hard work. In addition, he has managed to show the way to so many that came after him. It is amazing. Hence, he is a true music, electronic music & Trance music living legend. Electronic music & Trance music, and its fans and supporters (like myself), owe a lot to Paul Oakenfold. Also to other great Electronic music and Trance music artists, DJs & producers, some of them already big electronic music & Trance music legends (like Oakenfold) as well, such as the following: Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Airwave, LNG, Giuseppe Ottaviani, NU NRG, Franky Jones, Yves Deruyter, Axel Stephenson, Humate, Pascal FEOS / Resistance D, Petar Dundov / Unreal, ATB, Lange, Fire & Ice, Tiësto, Kamaya Painters, Above and Beyond, Ayla, M.I.K.E. Push, Airbase, Akesson, Simon Patterson, Gareth Emery, Paragliders, The Thrillseekers, Chicane, ReOrder, Aly & Fila, Orkidea, Sean Tyas, Ralph Fridge, B.B.E., Criss Source, Wavetraxx, Unknown Source, Energy 52, Three Drives, Blue Alphabet, Velocity, Emmanuel Top, Der Dritte Raum, Age Of Love, Jam & Spoon, Nalin & Kane, Caucassus, Robert Miles, Andy Blueman, Talla 2XLC, RAM, Jorn van Deynhoven, Marco V, Leon Bolier, Simon O'Shine, Estiva, Gary Proud, Menno de Jong, Sander van Doorn, John O'Callaghan, Solarstone, Arksun, Vincent de Moor, Sven Väth, A.R.D.I., Accendo, Moonman, Maria Healy, Kanski, Joe Shadows, Adam Nickey, Orion, Sundawner, Thr3shold, Rex Mundi, Afternova, Agnelli & Nelson, Arty / Alpha 9, John Askew, Cygnus X, Daniel Kandi, Timo Pralle, Signum, Siberian Sun, Jono Grant, Gaia, Temple One, Sunny Lax, Jon O'Bir, Ilya Soloviev, Midway, Rafael Frost, Thomas Datt, Rank 1, Icone, Arctic Moon, David Forbes, Orjan Nilsen, Nifra, KhoMha, Matt Skyer, Tuomas J, HH, Robert Nickson and many others. Great job Twan and many thanks for another excellent video & interview. For example, about his superb tracks 'For an Angel' or 'Forbidden Fruit'. Or about his sublime recent SHINE remix of the legendary tune 'Energy 52 - Café del Mar'. Paul van Dyk is my all-time favourite electronic music & Trance music DJ and producer, he is such a living legend, I love his music and his DJ performances, he enables you to live and enjoy thrilling musical journeys with huge mastery, like not many. Twan I enjoy your interviews every time. This one is one of the greatest to remember. Bullet in the gun 2000, not over yet and down to earth(Ascension remix) are my top favourites, keep up the good work sir.

Wow, thanks Twan. Paul's Goa Mix to this day is the reason i love Trance...this was an epic scoop for you...was it sorted before or did you get lucky at Lumi!?
@muzikxpress6 ай бұрын
Thank you! We sorted this like a week before the festival with his press agent and manager (but thanks to his bookings agent, who I know hehe), so I had my questions etc all prepared. After his gig I quickly went to say "hello" and said that I would meet him the day after for the interview. And he said he was looking forward to it, so I slept a bit better haha! He was very friendly and as you can see in the interview, he was in a good mood, loved his stories! Really happy about this one!
