Omg that's so unique! This interview is an iconic piece of history. I've been a HUGE fan since then lol and I've never heard about the platforms being painted with car spray red paint. So she must have done it to her black platforms. That's clever yes. 😊 I want Geri to bring on the SPICE again and lose the conservative look. @@viceb7she’s about 4’8” that’s why she had those huge platforms on all the time, it was improvised using a tea towel in rehearsals the day before because she felt she looked too boring and not “Brits” enough, in london on Oxford street not far from where the show was back then, you can find those tea towels on every tourist tat stand, in all kinds of fabrics, I don’t think she sewed it on, i belive her mum or gran did it, and she’s from east london, the Brits are held in london im pretty sure her Dad could have sprayed those boots for her the night of rehearsal before the show the next night if needed last minute for a last min idea? It’s not that wild a concept, people do alsorts of crazy stuff in an inspired moment as fast as they can, Kim K wrapped up like a mummy in Balenciaga tape the other year was also something done on the spur of the moment, sometime you just get it done and voi La

There are no darts, and no pulling when she moves, so it had to be stretch, whatever it's made from and whoever made it. If she made it, it wasn't a tea towel, and she was a damn good seamstress.
