Our family have been singing this Carol around the piano on every Xmas day for years - we found it in an old Carol book from the 1950s. We live in England.

It's weird that the video doesn't mention who wrote "The Cowboy Carol". The words, as the other commenter notes, were written by Cecil Broadhurst. Some sources claim that the music was composed by Sir Malcolm Sargent, whereas others state that Broadhurst wrote the music as well as the words while Sargent was responsible for the carol's popular choral arrangement.
