On the whole "is piloswine good?", don't listen to the ones that don't play much (pretty much everyone). Piloswine and its evolution are used in competitive quite often and are really good when trained correctly. Though, most pokemon are good if trained and used correctly. If you all do this in the future, just go with your gut and think about things.
