Have you ever heard the Story of Altamont? On December 6, 1969 the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead, and bands that made up the 1969 San Francisco Sound attempted to recreate Woodstock in the West. Some say this is the day that music died...I'll let you decide if that's true.
