I'm an English literature teacher and I find it really helpful for my students. Thankful. Seems to be a result of online teaching. Really wonderful.

Thank you so much for this video about The Story of an Hour. I read this story about 2 times, I didn't get it, but now I have already known about it by your analysis.

great interpretation, you really covered the story in an amazing way and the feminist analysis is on point. but I was really hoping that you dive more into the imagery and the language used. but overall it was really good that's why I was hoping to see more of it. excuse my English it is not my native language.

The imagery is amazing in this story, isn't it? Especially when you consider that it's only about two pages long.

hey, do you mind making a video on "the challenges and struggles faced by the woman in the story of an hour"? thank you
@StudywithDrF2 жыл бұрын
That would be an interesting video, but it delves a bit more into the historical-side of things for me. With that said, the lack of equal rights on a national level made life challenging for women during the late 19th/early 20th century. Even wealthy single women had challenges, especially if they married.

OMG, Im so thankful that you made this video sir i just really need the criteria ❤

But i would like to know if it's also considered as historical
@StudywithDrF9 ай бұрын
Hi! Thank you for your question. Since The Story of an Hour took place in roughly the timeframe it was written, I wouldn't categorize it as "historical fiction". Instead, I would categorize it more broadly as literary fiction.

I mean historical approach ?
