Despite his humble beginnings as being another Jojo's reference, he'd been in every single main entry to date. This is the story of Benimaru from KOF 94 to KOF XIV.

Underestimated character. I remember getting mocked for using him in many versions of the game but in the end having the pleasure of seeing the horror face of my opponents as they saw their life bars getting drained by Benimaru's electric attacks. By the way, defeating Krizalid in 99 was a piece of cake using Benimaru... You jump then use down D (The slow falling spinning kick) and immediately follow with a Shinku Katategoma, rinse and repeat.

Benimaru is the only character who can attack his opponents with his Hidden Super Desperation Move, Raijin Ten. Others have the ability to perform their HSDM once but can't attack at the same time with it. Such a Unique one.

Benimaru the champion of KOF The NESTS saga really improved his character. He is cooler when he isn't with Kyo or Daimon. Also, he is one of the few people who doesn't treat Shingo badly (unlike Kyo)

Benimaru's my favorite character in the KOF series. I Realized that I pick him in every 3v3 fight. I guess it's because electrokinesis and superspeed are the abilities I would want if I had to choose any type of powers. Not a fan of his fashion sense, but man I do love his Collider/Electrigger command grab move feels really good to pull off. So cool. He has an ego, but is humble and has a big heart for his friends. One good reason why i would literally donate for more KOF DESTINY seasons to exist, is watching BENI maturing in the sagas. in NEST saga he had more protagonism and grew into a true leader and was more involved into the core of things. In ASH saga he met 2 badass friends, DUO LONG and ELIZABETH and pulished his style stronger than ever

@@duncan3998 frankly IMO I always found Goro Diamon very forgettable, heck I honestly wasn't a fan team Japan in KOF. I only liked Kyo from the jump and it took me till '97 to warm up to Benimaru. It's always nice to see Shingo and frankly way over due for a return. That said IMO Shingo & Diamon are not stables to the series as Kyo, Iori & Benimaru are.

I also noticed AOF/FF characters are better at winning single tournaments, not team tournaments. Because team Japan started as a team and trained that way. AOF/FF are all single tournament type fighters.

Ah Benimaru~ One of the effeminate fighters in this beloved series. Pushing your opponent to a corner then stunning them is a great technique back then. He is fast, far reaching and classy in winning. Though I never have heard about Jojo's BIzarre Adventure arcade game (the Stardust Crusader one) years after i first saw this guy, I always thought of him being a great fighter. Ah yeah, we gotten to possibly the most consistent character when it comes to competitive play.....at least I think he is going by from what I seen in KOF 11 to 14 and one of the earlier installment. Benimaru have also been a go-to for tournament players and for good reasons: His moveset and electric powers makes him one of a kind. The character himself is quite charming and funny, being a really caring person despite being full of himself at times, and as you said, have some of the most badass skill set in the franchise. The fact he’s based on a Jojo character is a plus for me and considering it’s Polnareff, it probably explains his chivalry. Chalk another one of your videos I ended up favoriting.

"The most" is the kind of words to reserve when your range of experience is so narrow like that and dont include the two most popular games: 98 and 02. Anyways it's still true that he is a popular pick in many games. Also his moveset changes are always interesting. It never happened that one of his new movesets was hated (like the sad case of Iori in Xiii).
