Orc heritage armor, human heritage armor, blue dragonflight and baine bloodhoof questlines have all been amazing. With deep lore cuts and rewarding for people who read all the books, comics, mangas ... Hope it continues like this!

The voice acting this expansion has been so good, each character has a voice that fits with their personality, their model, all of it. These VA deserve at least some recognition for doing their best to represent the characters they voice. Kalecgos really went "OHANA MEANS FAMILY, AND YOUR FAMILY NEVER LEAVES YOU BEHIND!"

The great thing about this quest for me was not just the lore, it was also visiting all different regions from World of Warcraft making it feel like a world again. Hope Blizz does this more often.

The blue dragon questline shows what happens when you don't gate questlines behind factions/covenants/ect. You get a longer, more fleshed out story. One I'd say is in the top three for best questlines for how much it delivers.

This questline is so good, I just finished it. I read every piece of quest text and tried to give every character their own voice. The Theramore section was heartbreaking and actually made me shed a tear.

I still am amazed that this xpac feature a damn tuskar making a speech to kalecgos about the importance of family. Not as good as Illidan blasting the chandelier but come close

I damn nearly cried finishing this quest line. Visually they nailed the exquisite beauty of Azure Flights aesthetic. Between the Nexus, the Span and elsewhere. I had to pause it and turn my graphics up just to take it in. I loved Borean as a Wotlk veteran, and I love this stuff. Thanks Nobbel! 🎉

The fact that they added a whole new little quest chain for people who have an obscure legendary staff that's extremely tedious to get and even had it voice acted is a sign that they cared for this story to be good. In any previous expansion this is the type of thing that'd be missing and we'd have to look past in order to stay immersed. Sure, it's not hard to do that. It's a lot of work, but damn does it feel good to actually have something like this every once in a while. It's the same with the human heritage quests checking whether the player has done the OG Onyxia chain and acknowledges them within the cinematic.

I haven't enjoyed storytelling in WoW until the dragons became central parts of it again. The blue dragon stories are full of tragedy and healing and moving forward with the new generation ready to lead them to new heights.

honestly among many heart touching stories, that of the blue dragons is most grieving for me, one I could not recall too much in my head, especially after I saw the simulacrum of sindragosa intertwining with the raid against her undead spectre…..she must’ve stayed in long remorse and hatred, yet her remaining shadow still helped the blue dragons reunite . Know that more tears are not enough for the beautiful magic watchers. Hope blizzard can have mercy over them once and for all, and save their fever for any heart breaking events to earn attention from the players, that may once again lead these poors to ruin.

I had epic leaky eyes on this quest chain, seriously amazing job they did with it and I hope they add more, it felt like old Blizz quality and renewed my faith that they DO know how to tell a good story. Worth noting the Dragon sitting on top of the flower that Tarecgosa needed was the one who has been constantly dealing with the blue dragonflight, the captured dragon in the Occulus. So many of the voice actors did such an amazing job at conveying the emotions of this story. It was small, focused, and truly well written. Got this old cat to cry a few times.

I did this quest with my dracthyr yesterday. It was longer than I expected, but well worth the time. I'm planning to do it again with my void elf arcane mage, once I've leveled her up. Celestari (Tari for short) is a blue- haired high elf mage from Dalaran. She's one of Kalecgos' students with a keen interest in the Blue Dragonflight. Celestari spent a few years in Azhuna, studying ley lines under Senegos' tutelage. She became close friends with Stellagosa whom she now views as a sister she never had. Upon learning of the awakening of the Dragon Isles, she was quick to volunteer for the expedition. Celestari will be happy to aid her Azurewing family again.

After restoring the graveyard you get to update the current whereabouts and deaths of the blue dragonflight. Which made me realize how many of their kind died for or because of us truly a tragic dragonflight.

And that does not even include the millions of kin who were born after, and did not have a tombstone on the Dragon Isles and killed by us, to farm the blue whelpling pet as well as the dragon senew in classic! (We saved Awbee though, who is now grown up). Also, it was sad, to see all those still classified as Whelpling on the original tombstone like Sapphiron, knowing, they are dead.

In retrospect it's bizarre that Azuregos finds it so surprising that Lady Sindragosa is "alive" considering he was canonically repeatedly killed so many times by adventurers he just decided to hang in the Shadowlands for a while and hook up with a Spirit Healer. Death is weird, man. Still, it was great meeting so many familiar faces.

I've never been a big fan of Kalecgos tbh. He just seemed kinda boring compared to the other aspects and Golden constantly pushing his relationship with Jaina in the novels despite the two of them having zero chemistry was irritating. He's also a creation of Knaak which doesn't help. That said, the Blue Dragonflight content in this expansion has massively improved my opinion of him. I'm also a big fan of his new look perhaps more than any other Aspect. He looks like a character from an 80's fantasy movie and I'm here for it.

Is it just me, or does Alexstrasza sound a little too... grand when telling Kalecgos to place the essences of Malygos's and Sindragosa's ashes to rest? Seems to me she should sound a little more subdued or mournful in that. Not to mention that "have the honor" is kind of a weird way to put it.

I am happy i can see they brought Malygos and Sindragosa's souls back. But i am not satisfied with the black dragonflights ending, why they didn't make to see Neltharions soul, even thou engulfed by the void we could of cleansed or some what to see thr old ewrth-warder and a warm forgiveness to hes children and the other aspects.😢

if the Shadowlands model follows, we can expect Neltharion's soul to be deeply buried in Torghast.. that is one being that deserved that sort of end. Unless Zovaal did somethg similar to his soul as he did to Arthas' - turning him into a magical tool or whatever [it was Arthas' soul Zovaal yanked out of the pocket dimension and used to turn Shalamayne into Kingsmourne]. Of course with Pelagos as new arbiter, there will undoubtedly be very few souls truly consigned there directly, and Renathal will be working a lot harder than Daddy Denathrius at rehabilitating the one Pelagos deems worthy of a final chance.
