The Story of Bob & Alma McAllister - Long-time serving missionaries to the D.R. Congo

Bob & Alma McAllister, born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and their family were long-time serving missionaries taking the Gospel to the DR Congo. On this program we bring you in their own words, remarkable story by way of this interview our presenter Wilbur Fitzgerald conducted with them back in 1998: of how they faced death at the hands of rebels back in the early 60s and how their companion Hector McMillan lost his life outside their house.
Their story comes with their own music (see KZbin channel - McAllister Family Music), both the McAllister Trio and the McAllister Quartet with mum Alma, daughter Ruth and sons Billy & David, who also skillfully played trumpets. The family still has outreach connections with the Congo to this day. Bob went home to be with the Lord in 2020. He was still preaching right into his 90s here at home.
