Honestly man your videos deserve to be seen by a bigger audience than some of them seem to reach, don’t get it. Very enjoyable and interesting again.

@@flashbackfootball1367 just watching some of your videos. great stuff, but just a quick point about the assists. If you're using transfermarkt for them there's a strong chance they are far from complete for older non-german and smaller teams pre-early '00s. Quick example is Aleksandr Mostovoy at Celta, who had 70+ in all competitions, but only has a small fraction of that recorded.

very nice video about a player who could have had a shinier carrier. Not that he had a bad one, of course. His status of enfant prodige had set very high expectations about him. When he joined Inter in 1987 he was still very young and the team was in need of some more radical change, which happened one year later. When he later joined Torino he was way more mature and did much better. Serie A was extremely competitive and difficult in those years

Luc Nilis 'Subtilis' and from the black/white era Paul van Himst !! Fans of PSV saw Romario, Ronaldo and Ruud van Nistelrooij play in Eindhoven in the 1990s. But many will say their fave player was Luc Nilis. And he was highly valued as one of their best teammates by the likes of mentioned Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooij and Mark van Bommel ...

He had a really good long career. Was never best of the best but that's ok. I don't see him as a flop, you can't expect every player to be super known to causals. What hindered him in retrospect is that he came to big stage so young and people expected he would develop more. In his time mid 80s to mid 90s there was a bunch of players like that, who are now forgotten and were great but could have been more known.

When it was his day he was really a midfield orchestrator who could pull the strings and control the game. I just think he lacked consistency and it wasn't his day very often.
