GE is best example how not to build a team, GE first hires a korean coach who cannot speak any common language fluently, they hire random players and random asst coaches, GE should have a core team of atleast of 3 and build team around them. SK rossi unfortunately his popularity became his enemy, dude played 1 match well againt genG, otherwise dull performance. he never recovered after chamber meta. even if they dont have any Indian players right now, identify and train young talent and give chance in 1 or 2 yrs and by 5 to 6 years you can have more Indians, GE shud grow by helping Indian scene grow, or just shift completely other country focus on winnning by making full korean team. Not trying to balance two ships.

yeah the indian valorant competitive scene is pretty dead rn honestly, the playerbase is there but mostly all of it is casual and dont even watch the competitive scene .

I believe if wronski had been given more chances this team would have definitely qualified atleast for playoffs but bcoz GE had to give Rossi chances bcoz of the fanbase and it screwed the team's comp.

@@vedantgupta2145 they were consistent its just that they were not able to close games at those crucial moments if u look at the games scoreline or if u had watched the games the difference was always 2-3 rounds and they had the chance of winning those rounds where they lost. Except for Gen G game and the DFM game where they played good. And i truly believe if wronski had been given more chances we would have been able to convert. He played so good against DRX but didn't get a chance after that.

The core of monyet, ayrin and texture is really good. If anything, I would hope bazzi steps up. Add to that another good initiator from APAC like yesican or shiro, and you actually have a top 3/4 pacific roster. Even if no Indian plays in the active roster, I feel the viewership number and fan following will increase if they do well, it has dropped down significantly and almost all offseason events are getting cancelled.

@@lakshya44 it's already less than half due to piss poor performance. No one cares who is in playing 5 if org wins. Look at PRX and DRX. Most of their fan following is because of their performances. Heck, EG had literally 0 fans before their performances in Tokyo and LA. Also, Indian talent pool isn't ready for the international stage. Competition and quality just isn't there yet. There's no point trying indian players if GE keeps losing. Maybe they can try lf in off season but I don't think they should have him if there are better replacements available.

During the 2021 season Brazil was considered the worst region in val and yet they didn't go importing players from better regions and kept improving and look what happened the very next year. Just get 5 talented Indian players on the roster and give them time to improve doesn't matter how long it takes.

@@lakshya44 The amount of money required to run an operation like that isn't small. You can't get investors interested without results. Also, IDC if you agree or not, but skrossi was the best Indian player by far. If he couldn't perform on the biggest stage, no Indian can. Young talent just isn't there yet. Young talent can prove itself in Ascension first. The fact that riot has agreed for an academy team means there are other ways for GE to support Indian talent for now.

Yeah , Ge had a pretty rough start in the internationals but even team like sentinels who had such an amazing start is struggling nowadays. Even EG had a pretty rough start and was considered to be the worst untill they won the valorant champions cup. GE players are great but they r just not extraordinary like other teams but its alright. They understood the difference between them and others. They know it themselves and they gonna train for the next season. So yes i am hoping that GE comes back with a bang and leave the stage with pride and claps. Winning is not important, but growing is . I just hope that they come back as a new team more improved and atleast walk off with their heads high.

GE getting a slot is due the Indian fan base only. It can also be said that the slot they have is Indian slot. Then what they do is kick out all indians and keep foreigners. (They kept Rossi so fans won't get that mad). Basically they are misusing the Indian slot. The excuse they give is Indian don't have experience and all that would look bad when they will lose.(like they won with the foreigners). Win or lose doesn't matter, at least make Indians play. How are you expecting them to get experience if they won't play in high tier leagues. Everytime they ask for support #GEFighting and all that.
