I would love a video discussing both the lore and possible present and future location and use of the Scythe of Elune. It doesn't get discussed very often, yet it shaped an entire faction as well as had a notable influence on the Duskwood zone. I feel it deserves a bit more love and attention.

Nobbel87 I have a suggestion for lore videos. I was wondering the other day if you have ever made a class lore series (I couldn't find any specifically for classes). With this I mean the lore of warriors, mages, warlocks etc. I know that some of these classes already have been more or less covered in other lore videos, for example much of the warlock lore, but it would still be cool to see some lesser known lore of classes!

Nobbel, can you make a lore video on the famed blade, Ashbringer? As well as lore on its wielders, all the way down from Alexandros to Tirion, and how they got it, what they used it for, and all that? I think the lore for Ashbringer is awesome, so I thought it'd be cool if you told its story. Thanks, and love the videos, man!

Hello Nobbel! I love your videos and I regret to never have commented on any before. Anyway, I know you probably have a million of idea of lore videos, but what I would really, really love, is a comprehensive lore overview of Highmaul. I think that would be something a lot of people would enjoy. Explain who Margok is and why Chogall shows up. I'd love that! :) Thank you for your awesome content!

Yo Nobbel, first of all... Congrats on the channel. It's really cool to find someone really dedicated to the lore side of the game, considering it's the aspect that got me into the game in the first place. Second, it would be great if you started out a cycle consisting of Faction Lore. Not the big divisions (Alliance/Horde) but all the small factions, such as the Lorewalkers or the Golden Lotus in Mists. Great job, man. Keep up the good work.

I'm pretty sure the Orge empire falls at the end of Highmaul given the title you get for being Mar'Gok in Mythic called "Empire's twilight." Throughout Draenor there are small reference to the declining Orge empire such as the conversation about Bladespire citadal in Frostfire to the orge ruins scattered through out Draenor. There could be a second Empire besides the Gorian the follower Tormmok when you talk to tells you about how he is sent to find the ruins of the Old Empire in Gorgrond. If a true Orge zone were added into the game like an Island it would probably be part of the Gorian empire trying to hold together against falling apart completely seeing as they lost their Capital city and King. They are quite a few parallels to the Roman empire buried within the savage Gorian Empire such as Gladiators, and Centurians. heh.

Blizzard has said in an interview that they ran into the "Orc Situation". A moment where the team realizes they have too many orc-based moments. That's why they did a complete overhaul of Gorgrond just before Beta started (dont quote me on that one... can't remember it too well). The 6.1 PTR notes tell us that the Iron Docks will be an important new quest hub, so I guess we get some hype going for Blackrock Foundry pretty soon :)

Nobble, what's the general idea for goblins of the iron horde. Originally, they were part of the blackfuse company who were hired by garrosh. In WoD they followed garrosh into draenor, but now and a lot of goblin officers. Why would they still be part of the iron horde, do you belive there is maybe a big goblin mastermind behind. who seeks the greater good .. for his own wallet?

MASTERSHADOWLINX Goblins have multiple goblin factions, only 1 faction of goblins from kezan isle joined the horde, other are neutral, Some are independent of faction and some work for evil companies like Blackfuse or Venture Company. I find it weird to see Titanic influences on this alternate Draenor, mainly because it was the Titans themselves that stated that there's only one "true timeline" (Aman'Thul granting Nozdormu his powers?). Then again, I find all kinds of time travel a bit out of place in the Warcraft universe for the same reason. We all know Blizzard and their lore-loopholes though. Great video as always, thank you.
@bindair_dundat10 жыл бұрын
Do a video about Grom Hellscream. Not the abomination we see in WoD, but the real Grom Hellscream. The one that freed the Horde of demonic corruption. Too many new players will only know Grom for the one-dimensional villain he is in WoD. Now that the expanion is out, it may even be too late to change their opinions, but it should worth a try.
@Sigmundfruit10 жыл бұрын
Frankly there's little reason for him to be anything else if you look at the timelines
@goran77ish10 жыл бұрын
He was always like he is in WoD, just had shining moment at the end. Reckless and eager to fight. Only thing I dislike is why is he leader of Iron horde? In our reality he was warlord but more fighter on the field then real leader. Great tool fro war.
@cosminbalan932510 жыл бұрын
Every WoW villain is 1 dimensional as all hell if you go by just WoW. Vanilla villains are made up monsters. TBC everybody goes coocoo for cocopowerpuffs. WotLK Arthas is Satan or something. Most villains are just his minions, evil minions of course. Cataclysm Deathwing is Satan too, but he is actually possessed by super Satan. Bla bla bla trolls want more power. Rag wants to be evil and destroy stuff, same for Alahkir Akbar. MoP Kung Fu Panda has better villains. And Garrosh is crying because Thrall abandoned him, so he goes full on Skeletor evil, and he left Anduin on the train tracks, will Thrall be able to blandly stop him? Or will it fall onto a group of what's their faces heroes to save the world for the bilionth time? And now we reach WoD, Villains=Orcs Orcs=BLOOD AND WARR AND PLUNDER AND WOAHHHH MURDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR LOK TAR OGAR. So basicaly any kid who has ever played PvP as a Horde. We got Ogres too, which are exactly like the Orcs except they hate Orcs, and yeah those are the villains we have. Oh and Thrall cheats in a duel of honor vs a 5 year old called Garrosh or something.
@m.b.756010 жыл бұрын
You realize Grom has always been a one dimensional villain, right? He is an orc after all...
@Maximara10 жыл бұрын
Cosmin Balan WotLK Arthas is more like the Joker in the _Killing Joke_ ie if I push you far enough you will loose it just like I have. As for Deathwing you really didn't see' him until the end and he came off as 'I have totally lost it and want to kill everyone. Garrosh tried to recreate the only Horde he ever knew ie a Horde composed only of Orcs and I agree with him in that Thrall shoulders a lot of the blame for that mess.

Hey Nobbel. Can you please consider the rangari lore as a video. As far as I remember the Drenai civilasation was based on something far beyond nature. Hmm. Could it be that the Old Gods manipulated everything from making the aspects lose their powers, all the way up to Garrosh going to Draenor? Doesn't seem far-fetched since they've done something similar in the book trilogy War of the Ancients. Maybe old gods like C'thun, Yogg-Saron, and even Y'shaarj having had lost their physical form wanted their bodies from this alternate timeline in order to continue with their plans of throwing Azeroth into chaos, and now they have TWO Azeroths, and now they have Draenor. Were playing right into their hands like always..

So, there are other warlords as well, they just weren't important enough to put them on the WoD banner. Like the Iron Wolf guy and the Laughing Skull leader. It makes one question why the Iron Horde launched an attack on Azeroth while half of Draenor was still fighting against them.

Thanks for sharing that story nobbel! I actually just got Rexxar part just now on my monk before I watch this video but its nice to see it again without my little breaks between ;) My only curiosity is.. We know Draenei were Priest, Warriors, Paladins, Hunters back in Draenor (They were shamans later due to the whole broken happening) but...where is the lore with saying they are mages..? I tried hard to look for anything specific but couldn't really find it. Some speculations but again nothing full story so makes me wonder if they were Magus before they landed in Draenor.
@volimNestea10 жыл бұрын
The original Eredar were great magic wielders. Most of them were mages back on Argus. There were no Priests/Paladins until the Naaru contacted them and by then Sargeras was already on them.
@Miyao0510 жыл бұрын
volimNestea But that makes no sense if velen was sort of a priest already and he was one of the leader of the eredar, so they had to have been priest and paladins back in their home world. Naaru might have given them more faith but I think they were already light type creatures.

Isn't it stupid how ranged DPS and melee DPS have (not including DKs, rogues, and hunters; they're broken right now) are more or less equal in DPS, yet for some reason melee gets to wear thicker armour, so they are generally just a superior class(they do usually equal DPS and are harder to kill because of armour)

A bit out of context for the current expansion but I would love to see more info on the theory of a south seas expansion. There is a veritable goldmine of lore surrounding it that has never been explored in much detail. Seems a wasted opportunity by Blizzard, or hopeful just delayed. Also Kul Tiras...why is this still not in game? The closest we got was Tol Barad, which is part of the kingdom...but thats it. With its close proximity to Gilneas and Dun Morogh its seems it should have been added in years ago.
