There is actually a Rare in this area - a malfunctioning Blood Golem and Belfs around it ask you to help stopping it. They are not quite there, but they are getting the hang of the technique ;)

Doomhammer's story feels really rushed, and I think that's because of Gorgrond. As I recall Gorgrond got changed very very heavily between alpha and beta. The way I understand it is the Orgrim and Durotan stuff was supposed to happen there and there were more quests convincing him to leave Blackhand, which eventually led to the Shattrath stuff.

AU Orgrim's story was disappointing but I did kind of understand Maraad's ending. In his death he chose protection over vengeance and redeemed himself after letting the refugees in Shattrath die when he chose vengeance over protection. And I think in Talador it seemed like Maraad was just becoming more angry at the orcs and might have started just blindly lashing out and lost his life for nothing.

I agree, it felt like he was loosing his way the longer he stayed around the iron horde, but realized what it all meant in the last seconds *garrison campaign spoilers* in the trial of the exarch, one of maraads lines implies that he knew he was loosing his way and regretted it, but didnt know any way back (because he was surprised by yrels response)

Yeah true, like basically after the fall of Draenor he just became consumed by his grief over his failure and seeing his world burn and as it went on his sorrow turned to hate and anger which would only lead to suffering. His ending was appropriate considering all that he had seen and suffered through.

Orgrim's story weak point is the fact that it was rushed, surely caused by the cutting made on the Gorgrond storyline. Other than that, I don't have a tremendous big problem in seeing him die so soon. Just because he played a massive role in our reality doesn't mean he had to be in this one aswell just because he had a flashy name; more probable, here is Durotan the one having a far greater role (unlike our Durotan who died pretty quickly once he came in Azeroth). About his "change of heart" well, since I learned enough about his character between RotH and ToD, I can see he hardly had a change of heart in the first place, but simply disagreed with Blackhand's over-the-top methods; he had no problems in killing draenei defenders and bath in their blood since they were the enemy, but the core of Shattrath was full of unarmed, untrained civilians, elders, children, and obliterate them all in a "single shot" of Blackhand's super-weapon was something Orgrim saw as horribly dishonorable, no matter how easily the victory would have came by doing so, thing that fits his character, someone who doesn't forsake honor merely in the name of victory. Furthermore, Blackhand willing to use such over-destructive and damaging weapons clearly marked him as no lesser danger to the land than any other alien invader.

Yeah I primarily agree, it feels like they rushed his story and his apparent "good guy" turn. It's like he just appeared, did some bad stuff, saw Blackhand was going to do even BADDER stuff then kinda joined our team.

I would love to see a video the focuses on what you imagine will happen with the story of this expansion. Will Yrel, who've gotten so much character development, either come with us, stay in this alternate timeline, or simply die? Will Go'el ever tell Durotan and Draka about who he is? Will ANYONE know that those that saved them were actually from the future? That's a huge story element that they've yet to talk about. I find it hard to imagine them wasting Yrel's story by ending it with either her dying or simply remaining in this timeline when Velen's alive in our universe. I also find it hard to believe that Go'el will simply leave a world where his parents are actually alive, without ever revealing that part of who he is to them.

I totally agree with you nobbel. I read the 4 first books before this expansion and I just loved the story about Doomhammer and Durotan. And I was pretty disapointed when i played through Talador questline and saw him die so soon. I mean the guy singlehandedly wiped out almost the entire shadow council and was such an epic fighter that he could have led the horde through the gates of lordaeron.

Story suggestion: Scarlett crusade (pre mop), black prince (including rogue legendary quest) the story of the goblin capital city in azhara. I personaly prefer you telling old stories over dreanor zones, due to the fact that most of what you're saying is stuff i explored myself, and most of the stories is to be released either from legendary finger quest or garrison campain, Love your lore vids btw :)

Just for lore and reference purposes, here are a few little things from Burning Crusade in Talador: Omogg is a boss in the shadow labyrinth Tagar Spinebreaker is leader of the Bonechewer clan Maladaar is the final boss in Auchenai Crypts For those who played Warcraft II, there is a little reference to the Flowerpicker Clan on the beach where all of the Iron Horde are landing. Vorpil Ribcleaver is the penultimate boss in the Shadow Labyrinth. Also, you can fight Blackhands son Rend in a Blackrock mountain dungeon, not nearly as badass as his dad though...

I think maraad will still have a part in the story, but it feels like he came back to draenor wanting to die. Especially since it seems like spirits can still get shit done in this reality.. and apparently it's an honor to become one of those exarks or however you spell that. As for doom hammer, his influence doesn't really seem to be needed seeing as how it will most likely be durotan who leads the horde after everything is said and done. Iron brought all the clans together, but in the end it takes a wolf to lead the pack. That sucked.. nobbel, you're taking credit for that one. Anyways both yuril and durotan take the places of maraad and doom hammer. Would have liked to see more of doom hammer though, or at least have gotten to see him go out in more of a baller manner. That damn doom hammer, he's so hot right now.. doom hammer.

Hi Nobbel! My girlfriend and I are a big fan of your lore videos. Been hooked ever since we watched that piece on the Titans and the Old Gods. I have a few questions though. 1.) Is it possible that Grommash won't be the end boss for Warlords of Draenor? If yes, who are your top 10 guesses? 2.) If Archimonde took the reins from Kiljaeden since they failed to use deceit on the orcs and it seems the Sargerei Draenei are now the ones doing the dirty deeds under the Shadow Council, do you think that Blizzard is putting the old Villains we've faced in the backseat (Ner'zhul the Warlords is over and done with as WotLK is over and done with as well and Kil'jaeden is no longer the threat as we've seen him in the Sunwell patch of BC) and giving it to the villains that died early on the Warcraft series like Archimonde and the other Warlords in this expansion? 3.) Is it possible that we're going to go further back and visit the Old Azeroth timeline during the War of Ancients and the Highborne in this fabricated timeline created by Kairoz? 4.) And what the heck is Wrathion up to?

Hi Nobbel! A question about the Shadow Council. In the Garrison storyline you meet up with Kadgar in Frostfire ridge to see what Gul'dan is up to. You get into the cave where he and his disciple hide out, then he turn her into a Shivarra demon. And in Talador a rare orc turns into a Dreadlord when you get him down a bit saying "No! Stop! I can't control him!" How is this possible? Arent those demon a seperate race? Just seems weird to me. Ty for your lovely vids! :)

I know I'm late but I didn't join WoW until after the WoD expansion but while I was playing through it to get to lvl 100 I was interested in the lore there and I noticed something while reading into it that Blackhand is massive compared to other Orcs but I didn't know he was that big and at 19:01 you can see Blackhand compared to Durotan a normal sized Orc
