As a German, we are ashamed for generations for what our people did. It can never be forgotten. And seing this happening again breaks my heart. Has human mankind not learned, nit understood. We all want to live and see our children and grandchildren live and continue in peace. Hamas actions cannot be condemned enough. Ceasefire will not be acceptable before all hostages return to Israel. Since today no one excused any German citizen at the time, they were all Nazis or they were silent and by this helping the Nazi terror. How can Gaza citizens who voted Hamas being treated differently now? They are in one way or another allowing Hamas to be in charge.

No, people in Germany were not all silent, there were several ones who tried to stop Hitler, but sadly they were caught and executed. As far as I know there were 42 attacks on Hitler and unfortunately all failed 😔☹️ And not all of the germans were nazis either, but they were afraid and went along. Some helped and hid jews though. Many of them got caught up in the nazi ideology though. That all this could happen is still unfathomable and a tragedy beyond words that may never be forgotten! Horrible that these poor people have to relive this horror now! 😭 I am praying for them and Israel! 🙏

I cannot imagine what it must be like to have endured the Shoah and survived - and then to live through this. I've seen a lot of coverage and cried, but this really tore me up. The pain in the lady's voice as she describes the carnage of bodies lying all over, that she will never forget it. And what she says about Israel giving security to millions who "wandered the world" - this is the crux of the State of Israel and why it must survive and what so many people unfortunately do not understand. The second gentleman talking of the Shoah itself, hour by hour, day by day, month by month - for five years. That is a trauma in itself that few can really grasp. Thank you for sharing this. These are powerful voices.

Somehow, being halfway across the world, safe in my bed in the US, and never having experienced the atrocities that these people have or anything remotely close to it, I can still feel their pain. I think nothing and no one can ever comfort these elderly people, but God himself! I know people will do the work of compassion and love, but nothing can erase the memories and pain they suffered. My fathet was a holocaust survivor. He past away 17 years ago and there wasn't a day I didn't wish he was here. On 7.10 was the first time in my life that I was happy he is not here to know that it happened again. Since I was little he would always tell me how happy he is that right now we finally have a Jewish state and an army and it cannot happen again. He finally felt protected. My kids are reading Elie Wiesel's Night in school right now. It is on the syllabus every year. I emailed their teacher that I was glad they are reading it now in these times of crisis in Israel. "Never again" is not an empty phrase. History repeats itself, the bad guys always come back. This poor woman's experience is heartbreaking.

As A Christian Woman I grieve deeply for this woman. No human being should Ever have to endure what she has endured. I had a a dream three years ago during Covid lockdowns. Weeping with these! I have thought so often of those who survived this once only to see it again. This is so horrific. I hear of the atrocities and I can't get the images out of my head. The nightmares they are reliving is heart wrenching. There are still many that stand with you. What more can I say? There are no words but there are so many tears.
