From having 4 babies I can tell you the induced labor (2 of my kids) with Pitocin was MUCH harder than the 2 natural births!! Congrats to you both. ❤️

That's always the case. The body wasn't prepared for contractions. For the safety of both mum, and baby, it's often necessary to induce labour ( I am a Midwife) NEVER refuse induction, it's being done for essential safety reasons. Jack is such a beautiful baby.

Omg yes! I was induced with my first after my OB broke my water during exam. I had gone to my birth classes but when pitocin kicked in I was frantically trying to read the class notes and realized nothing was how I was told the stages of labor would be. At one point I threw my focal point stuffed animal across the room! I had said no epidural or meds before but that was before I knew I was going to be on the hell that is pitocin. My cervix was not dilating enough but my body was in overdrive. I was svreaming for an epidural but was told it was too late, yet I was in extremely painful labor for hours after that. Pitocin is not fun. lol

I had that epidural a huge needle being pushed up your back and spine. Horrible i had shivering violent shaking. Torture of the worst kind.

Wow, dramatic much ?? I've seen many epidurals as a Midwife ( probably hundreds) with no problems for the mum. I had one , for my first (38 hour) labour, No pain and no problems, whilst It was being sited, and whilst It was in situ . It stopped the pain, job done

Did the 100 percent natural delivery once and said never again. All the children that proceeded I got in the hospital and immediately said give me an epidural now. The woman who give birth at home without any drugs they amaze me that it is possible ❤
