She just needed her own show or at least a miniseries showing us in a more deep way her backstory that way audiences and especially people that judge her a lot could've understand her more like they did with Klaus in The Originals but nope let's make a show about legacies before a show about other characters that deserved one like katherine, the bennet witches etc 🙄

The one thing that redeemed Klaus Katherine lacked and lost long ago actually became like a long-living trauma Katherine lost her maternity meanwhile Klaus's paternal qualities were always there even before Hope with Marcel And Katherine lost the sense of family after losing her whole one meanwhile Klaus had that sense of family with 4 siblings around, shitty and screwed as they may look like but they were still FAMILY he could lean his back subconsciously on despite of everything It's not about sex or anything; the necessary elements for Katherine's redemption were long ago missed like a maimed person that should never live with his limbs again

Personally, I really enjoyed all Katherine scenes. While the show puts her as a very hated person by most, I loved her. Anyway put yourself in her position, like you give birth to a kid out of love and you are denied even the slightest chance of ever holding it as a mother, you are on the verge of being killed by an evil human (klaus) for a useless reason and you escape, many are sent on your trail, you kill them to defend yourself, try getting back home, everyone related to you is slaughtered just for someone to get back on you for escaping death. Lol😂😂😂😂 quite hilarious. She only is hated for surviving...
