Much of Civilization's History can be dark. Because life was short and brutal back then...No Country's History is as dark as America. Our Original Sin (slaughtering and persecuting the Natives) and there was something else I think but I can't quite remem-Oh yeah *Slavery*

Thanks for the nice video.. Lady Janet is my 16th great grandmother. I decend from her daughter Janet Lyons-Keith down to the Dukes of Hamilton down further to ironically the Dukes of Hamilton-Douglas to the Earls of Lumley where I am also a decendant of Edward IV. I also decend from James IV several ways. James V is my 15th cousin who killed my 16 gg. Terrible to take revenge out on women and children like that. Lady Glamis is also ancestor to Queen Elizabeth and the royal family. I believe she is my 15th cousin as well.

Also supposed to be descendant Archibald Campbell, Janet Douglas. Scottish family history sometimes wish hadn't learned. So brutal and bloody. Sure wouldn't have wanted to be an heir to the throne. A peasant craft on the croft laboring on the farm preferable. All old European wars family squabbles of Kings and Queens, Prince and Princesses, Dukes and Duchesses, Lord's and Ladies, etcetera. Power and wealth sure does strange things to people.

Wasn't James IV's little half-sister a Douglas? Did he spare Lady Arbella?

James IVs widow Margaret Tudor married Archibald Douglas, 6th Earl of Angus and it was through that link you get to Arbella. Arbella wasn't touched by the feud.

Thanks be to God may He forgive me for saying so that James V died young luckily for Scotland hexwas evil and almost as bloodthirsty as his uncle Henry VIII whom he physically resembled

He was remorseful after he had Lady Glamis executed but that doesn't take away the fact that he had it carried out.
