Wonderful story. Miss Alma had become impatient with her lot in life (bad hip, no husband, no children, etc.). She had started walking to visit and talk to the preacher. When she fell and was helped back up on to her feet by an unlikely looking young man whose name was Albert (who needed help with many things). In her efforts to teach and guide Albert she learned how to be patient with him and herself. A long time ago, a teacher that I was working with (while trying to teach Down's syndromes children) knew that I was about to give up and quit. She told me, "These children are Angels sent to earth to teach us how to be patient". I did not quit. Most of those children don't get to live long lives; but, I have been very lucky to get to work with and know some of them.

I miss Mrs Minnie, Benoit Mississippi. She lived 4 houses from ours and she was a grandma to 2 little ones. On a hot delta day my sister was backing out our driveway and noticed Mrs Minnie and her grandkids walking up the gravel road, grandkids were barefoot. My sister asked if they wanted a ride , they were walking 2 miles to the only store there. From then on anytime Minnie wanted to go to the store she’d walk to our house and ask “ y’all goin to Bee-noit “? lol one of us would always answer yes ma’am and give her a lift to and from. She felt like a grandma to us too

Great story as always... My beloved brother, could you and Queen Lora keep my mini dachshund in your prayers. He got cut on his stomach Saturday real bad. No vets open anywhere near me because of the holiday. I'm keeping him bandaged but Peanut really needed stitches.. Holding him, loving him and keeping him as comfortable as I can. I love y'all ❤

this is david and janette from tasmania butifull story as useral is fair dinkim family lovin its good you appalachin folk are proud where you come from and your kinfolk alot changes im 60 the wife 58 we love family some times we watch young ones they dont seem to apriseate the old life or respecting elders we try some times you have got to play with the cards you have been delt we are not perfect and we dont peretend to be but we have love and values and responsability sory if spelling is bad but i say it how it sounds its nice to have a king and queen that love the common folk ❤🙏 thank you for just being yourselves
